Now, these are conditions as we find in this body, [
4],
London, Kentucky, we are speaking of. The body throughout
as far as the circulation is able to go unhampered or
unhindered is very good. We find there are deflections
from the full circulation through portions of the body,
these being caused by the condition existing in the brachial
plexus and the lumbar plexus. The blood in its own
elemental conditions at present are very good, though there
has been at times back, conditions that caused much of the
trouble now existing, so we have a condition where the
affect of blood forces have produced the effect present in
the system. The nerve forces we find are very good through
the trunk portion of the body, except as we have given where
lesions cause deflection of nerve, muscle and blood vital
force to be carried through the system in an improper manner
and form, so that poor elimination from the sacral and
brachial plexus cause the condition we have through the
extremities as at present, for the liver and emunctory
circulation has become so emeshed with the nerve supplying
centers as to cause the contraction of the ligaments about
the ends of the extremities of the joint of the femur from
the sacral and locomotory centers in the pelvis to those
that govern the tibia and anti-tibia here in the lower
extremities. The functioning of the nerves have been so
hindered by this lesion as to prevent the co-ordinating
forces between the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal nerve
forces at the sacral plexus. The functioning of the organs
themselves we find are very good at present, while each
suffers in its own cycle from the conditions existing in
the nervous system, yet organically they, the organs
themselves, are very good in as much so, that is, not as
good, through the functioning of the kidneys and the bladder
as of the other organs. Reflexly, there are some conditions
that appear in the liver so that we have a laggard condition
in the lower end of the intestinal tract that only needs be
cared for by keeping as near as possible, perfect
elimination through these channels without exciting the
action of the glands throughout the digestion too much.
To give the relief to this body from pain and assist in
bringing it to its normal actions in the system, we would
give two courses of treatment to this body, that to prepare
the system for the action of other forces, and those forces
to create the perfect connections in the nerve centers to
give the proper vibrations. We would take this into the
system:
To on gallon of rain water, not distilled but rain, add six
ounces of Sarsaparilla root, two ounces of Yellow Dock root,
two ounces of Burdock root, two ounces of Snake root, two
ounces of Yellow root. This would be reduced by simmering
not boiling to one quart, strain, while warm, add four
ounces of grain alcohol and three drams of Balsam of Tolu.
The dose would be tablespoonful four times each day an hour
before meals and at bed time, that is, at 9 or 9:30 in the
evening. After this whole quantity has been taken in the
system and the body rests for seven days, then we would take
Chloride of Gold, fifteen grains in fifteen ounces of water
with six grains of Bromide of Soda. When it's prepared, for
the dose for the body, which would be ten drops, we would
add, also, one drop of a saturated solution of borax water.
The dose would be given three times each day. Before the
treatment with the violet ray each evening, one of these
doses would be given thirty minutes before that time, so we
would have the reaction of the metal in the system to act
with the emunctory forces in this system. Do that with this
body.
We are through.
