(Q) Would selling real estate in Florida be the proper
thing for [
8] to do? If not, what would be, under present
conditions and circumstances?
(A) This might be very good, but the entity must first
sell the proposition to himself, or no success can be made.
The entity has had a demonstration of this in its own
experience. Profit by that. That is, no success can be
made unless the entity, through its own will force and own
volition, is satisfied in its inner self with the conditions
surrounding the venture. Then, with that condition, the
entity has that capacity to make a financial success of any
undertaking, but must first sell self on the proposition.
That is, again, do not worry about conditions existing in
the financial strain at present. Only make the self,
through its spiritual and mental, comply with those
requirements to make the success the body desires.
We are through for the present.

8]'s last personal reading.

REPORTS
11/22/24 EC referred Mr. [
8] to [
3899] regarding his
interest in locating and developing Florida lands.
12/03/24 Letter briefed Mr. [
8]'s experience regards two
propositions in Florida which fell through; then: "I wish
you could make this your home town... I am in love with
Florida, what I have seen of it... I am sorry these other
two deals fell through, but I still have confidence in my
trip down here, and to show you I am a sport, impressions or
no impressions, if I can make some money, the friendship I
feel towards you and the work you are doing, I shall finance
you to move down here and see that you have the cash before
coming, not like other men do [
5717] (?), for I sure would
like to see you and the family in Florida." [GD's memo:
Interesting, in light of the Atlantean incarnation given him
in
8-1 (?).]
12/13/24 Alma M. S. Reed's letter to [
8]: "The editor of
the Sunday 'Times' has given me your letter in reference to
my article on the 'Lost Atlantis.' I am going to North
Africa with Count de Prorok's expedition in February, and
should welcome any ideas or suggestions that you may give on
the subject."
12/17/24 Letter: "Are you willing or can you, if I make
the arrangements, to take readings on this subject? It will
be the biggest thing ever done if I can bring this to a
head."
12/19/24 EC's letter: "I'm sure this would be quite an
interesting thing. I have several readings, however, that
have already been given in horoscopes, where reference is
made to Atlantis, and it has given the location already in
these. I would like very much to be in touch with any pupil
who is considering such an expedition. It might be possible
to work out things to mutual advantage of each."
12/23/24 Letter: "After I received your letter today I
wired her you had the location of 'Lost Atlantis' and asked
her to advise." [Alma M. S. Reed replied that she had no
authority in the expedition except in regard to the
publication, but that she would take the matter up with the
heads of the expedition.]
12/13/25 Letter: "Since seeing you last I went through a
vast experience, finally landed up as manager of the ...
Theatre. This theatre is a little over a year old... I have
increased the profits since I took hold of this theatre from
$1500 to $2000 per week and must say that it is a wonderful
firm to be connected with..."
1/18/26 Mr. [
8] requested another physical reading for his
sister, Miss [
9], and wrote: "I am still making a remarkable
showing over here at the theatre. Business is getting
better and better; enjoy my work and am perfectly happy and
contented, only I want to make more money, so I can be able
to help others very much and be able to get married. All
I've got to find now is the right girl; I wonder who and
where she is...
"Was over to see Morton Blumenthal today; had lunch with him;
spent a few hours with him talking about starting the ball to
rolling on that medium for bleeding gums." [See [
1800].]
1/28/26 Mr. [
8]'s letter regarding marketing the pyorrhea
remedy given in the readings [See [
1800] series]: "The
confidence and faith I have in you is as great as is my
belief in God, and I know there is a God although I do not
pray every day, and so I want you to feel no matter what you
decide to do in the foregoing [regarding pyorrhea remedy
proposition and Mr. [
8]'s part in it] my friendship will be
just as strong as ever."
2/26/26 Mr. [
8] wrote that his sister Miss [
9] had died, and
EC wrote a letter of sympathy.
9/11/27 Mr. [
8] referred Mrs. [
4658] for Physical Rdg.
1/29/31 Letter: "I ought to be ashamed of myself for not
writing sooner, but it is the old story, when someone is in
trouble, he thinks of the one that can help him. I seem to
have a lot of trouble with my eyes for the past week. Have
consulted a half dozen physicians up to the present date,
but nothing has definitely been done."
2/07/31 Letter: "My eyesight became normal after seeing
double for about 10 days. The doctors who attended me
cannot account for this, but since I am now o.k. I guess we
will postpone the reading for the time being, but should I
get nervous again I will immediately get in touch with you
and waste no time with the doctors."
10/21/35 A man wrote enquiring about a reading, having
talked to Mr. [
8].
12/03/43 A lady wrote enquiring about a reading for her
father, saying: "Mr. [
8] recommended you very highly as
being able to help people who are in the condition my Dad is
in."
5/09/44 Mr. [
8]'s last letter, with his name still on the
stationery as manager of the theatre: "I suppose you will
be surprised to receive this letter, not having heard from
me in such a long time. My problem right now is 'what are
the possibilities of you taking a life reading'? So many
things have happened here recently that I thought perhaps
this would clarify my bewilderment. Kindest regards to the
family."
5/11/44 EC's letter: "My, it is good to hear from you
again. How are you and what are you doing with yourself?
Tell me all about yourself. Our boys are of course in the
Army, one in England, the other in the South Atlantic. We
have two grandsons, each of the boys married and have a son
each. All well. At present, [
8], we are full-up with
appointments but you know if it is possible we will get you
a reading. Let me have the data and what you wish to get
information about and will try. Have you read the book
written about me? If not, let me send you a copy; think you
will like it; many in the book you will recognize. "Glad to
hear from you. All send good wishes."
