This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 20th day of December, 1923, in accordance with request made by relative, brother, Mr. [8].

TEXT

1. EC: Now we find there are abnormal conditions that may be corrected in this body. They have to do with specific organs, and the functioning of the sensory system, and conditions that create in the system eliminating forces of the physical body.
2. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [9], we are speaking of. First:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this very good at the present time. There are those forces carried in the circulation showing how the system attempts to eliminate waste, or used forces, and in the assimilation to rebuild in the physical forces in the body in the functioning of organs, of muscle and tissue, for we find conditions better in the system at the present time than they have been in times back.
4. NERVE FORCES, in the nerve forces of this body we find conditions that show how the organs in sensory system, in portions of the body, in the cerebrospinal center itself, have become involved, and the seat of the trouble being in the repression of cell unit acting in circulation, and of nerve in its assistance in distributing blood forces in brain centers proper, or to the portions of the upper part of brain, causing depressions which hindered in the functioning of the centers of the sensory system, especially in that of locomotion in portions of the body, and of the expression as manifested in the sense of sight and hindered also to some extent, though it has become improved in hearing and taste. In the center through which this condition became involved first in circulation was that of the pineal gland and its branch through the brain force to the left side of the lobe of the brain proper, showing then the condition that has existed there from times back. The action of this condition on the sympathetic nerve center, and the repression to the system through this system, has in part been overcome, and the mental, soul and spirit forces of the entity have become developed by the condition, for it has gained control over self.
5. In the action of this condition over the physical forces we find this condition:
6. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY PROPER, brain forces, other than the cell as is shown where repression is brought to the sense of sight and motion in right portion of body, this is very good.
7. In the throat, larynx, bronchials, at present some congestion, and extra amount of secretion thrown off by the organs.
8. Lungs very good.
9. In the heart's action we find a depression in the pulsation by stimulation that has come to the body at different times.
10. Digestion very good at present.
11. Liver and hepatic circulation show the effect of these extra amounts of elimination attempting and being thrown out by the excretory system. Hence high hepatic circulation showing the effect this circulation has through hypogastric center to those of spleen and heart forces.
12. Kidneys overtaxed, extra secretive at times.
13. RELIEF, to give to this physical forces that which will be of assistance, and bring the better conditions in the body, we would give that in the system that will create the more perfect vibration for elimination in the system, and give to the nerve centers and the circulation as goes to brain forces that that will remove congestion and broken cell tissue that comes from improper elimination from the condition that has been produced. This will not bring back the total use of the sensory system in sight vibrations, but will give sufficient to create in the system that where-in, with assistance impressions through the sight, may be gained to brain centers.
14. Give every fifth day the dosage of radium water as is prepared, and every seventh day the vibration from heat of the Roentgen ray as applied to the first, second, third and fourth cervical and eighth dorsal.
15. Persistence, and with the correct incentives created in the mental and soul forces of this body, this may be, and will be, accomplished, if carried out as given.
