EC: Yes, we have the body, [
64]. This we have had before.
In some respects we find the body not so good as when we last
had same. The exercise, and the changes wrought in the
physical functioning, has caused more distress in the
mesenteric and in the hepatic circulation, and the pressure
as produced there causes an over activity to the functioning
of the organs in elimination; especially in the kidneys and
the bladder. These, we find, would be relieved by the
application of the packs of Epsom Salts (hot), and with a few
drops - three to five drops - of turpentine in the water that
the cloths are wrung out from. Saturated solution, see?
This would be applied especially of evenings, or oftener if
necessary.
Also we will find, throughout the lumbar region there will be
necessity - with this relaxation - to give that manipulation
that will produce stimulation to the lower portion of the
dorsal region, as well as stimulating the muscular forces
through those of the locomotary centers, that the whole
portion of the mesenteric system may be relieved of the
stress as is produced on same.
Will be well to keep the body COMPARATIVELY quiet, though
there should be sufficient of the exercise that there is the
proper reaction through the activity of locomotion, see?
that is, that the physical activities should be rather those
taken medicinally, that is under strain, than those taken -
well, just moving about, see?
In the diet, we would keep nearer that as is outlined for
same. These will be very good, and we will find the body
will improve under these conditions.
When the pains are relieved through the lumbar, then we would
apply occasionally those of the VIOLET ray. The Infra RED
should be given at least every second day, see? Ready for
questions.
(Q) Is there a gastritis or colitis condition?
(A) Colitis. This the form of the conditions moving out
from the stomach, and throughout the upper intestines, see?
That is all the questions regarding this body.
Watch the body carefully, that the eliminations through the
colon are proper, and if necessary use oil enema. These will
relieve - for we do not wish to produce the strengthening of
those tissues that in scar tissue form strangulations in
portion of the system, see? The upper part of the colon,
where the ascending - see? We are through with this reading.
