TEXT

1. GC: You will give the reading of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces, giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving the time, the place, and the name, and that in that life when built or retarded the development of the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how.
2. EC: (In undertone) Yes - we have had this before.
3. We have the relations of this entity with the universe and universal forces, as are exhibited and latent in the present entity.
4. In entering the earth's plane we find the entity coming under the influence of Uranus, Venus, Neptune, Jupiter, and the forces as are seen in that of the elements as govern between the application of that received through experiences in these various spheres and as applied in the material or earthly sense in the entity's development. We find, then, an entity of unusual abilities, especially along certain given lines. While the entity in applying will's influence in the present experience has - with the other influence as indicated - changed much of the astronomical or astrological influence as would be charted by the Chaldean or Egyptian chart; yet much of that as would be seen in the Hun or the Speed (?) would be nearer those as are followed by the entity in the application of these influences as received through sojourns in the various spheres, as well as the appearances in the earth's plane.
5. In giving the appearances in the earth's plane, remember these are those as apply to the physical, carnal, or earthly development, and the variations as are seen from the various appearances and the expressions of the entity through those periods as have more to do with that received in development or retardment in other spheres. Do not confuse these nor give too much stress in attempting to apply such information from these sources to that of the spiritual development, for spiritual forces are spiritual developments by application through material or earthly planes, and as applied to those transitions from sphere to sphere.
6. In the entity's application much may be given that has been experienced, and as has been given as to the urges as are seen. We find one good of body, good of mind, and with that petite influence in the ability to gain access and to hold the attention of many, under many varying and varied conditions.
7. One loving the home, the beautiful, the arts - especially that of portraying to the minds of others influence of various secular or spiritual or mental conditions, that those gaining true vision of such experience may apply same in the life and thereby gain much of that understanding applicable in the individual life. Hence the preaching, the ministering, that the entity may do through this manner of presenting varied conditions, varied experiences, varied effects - are as well adapted to teaching others as preaching would be to the same class or the same numbers, and the entity in applying self in this field will - through application of self - gain as much development as one ministering from a pulpit, would the application of self be as sincere as from the platform or the pulpit.
8. In self there is seen many of those conditions that enter through the astrological conditions as pertain to the bodily health; for, as we find, in certain periods there apparently re-occurs in the physical body those conditions that bring distress, especially to the digestion, and this usually occurs in February and March (as has just been seen).
9. In the application of self as towards will's influence: This the factor through which one develops or retards in the earthly experience.
10. One given to eccentricities, as seen by others.
11. One given to too easily ruffled or made mad, as seen by others. One that has the ability to hide these when it pleases self to do so. Hence we find will a factor in the development as may be experienced by the entity above the ordinary individual; for to the entity the WILL is the mainspring of existence. Do not deceive self in believing that is all, for to pigeon-hole self into any one of the various phases of the phenomena of life is to hedge self in and lose the greater scope of the whole; for in separating the various phenomena for study, do not forget to connect all to-gether in the applications of daily life or daily experience; remembering that one must be open-minded, open-hearted, and forgive and forget, and that in the application of truths known greater truths may come to the knowledge, and only IN application - even as of rule or rote - is there found to be the true meaning of all laws, whether pertaining to the mental body, the physical body, or the spiritual body.
12. IN THE APPEARANCES, in the one before this we find in the land now known as France. The entity among those who ministered during the rule known as Richelieu's rule. The entity of those who were close in touch with those in power in high places, and acted in the capacity of entertainer to both Richelieu and the king - in the name Isabelle. In the experiences of that appearance the entity gained and lost. Gained in the first portion of the experience. Lost in taking sides and becoming so one-sided as to cause both wrath and madness to destroy the mental abilities of application of truths known. In that as is innate is the dislike of any element that partakes of a two-sidedness; yet the rule - or that of good - the ability to portray in act that of any character, particularly as pertaining to that period; and here it may be given, well that such characters as of that period be acted by the entity, either in play or in life; and in the company of those living through the period will the entity find the greatest success in finance or in peace of mind in the present experience.
13. In the one before this we find in those days when there were wars in the now Grecian country, just before Xenophon came as the guide to the peoples of the land. The entity then among those who ministered in the house-hold of the ruler, in the name Iadeloi, and the entity gained, lost, and gained through this experience. Gained in the application of self in service. Lost in - when power was given - aggrandizing selfish desires. GAINED through ministry to those that were in peril. In the urge as seen, the ability to class the various elements of the mental forces of bodies as to their abilities in any phase of life's experience. Hence one that forms opinions at once respecting individuals and rarely changes, and one that finds that if self is not taken or understood at first does not care to be approached on the same subject later.
14. In the one before this we find in the land now known as Egypt. The entity then among that peoples who gave the first study of the laws as pertaining to the relationship of man to man, and man to the creative energies, and the entity then in that of the nurse to that founded during that period relating to the physical ills of the body. The entity gained through this period in ministering to others. The innate - or the expressions finds that as given, a minister in every sense, especially interested in ministering to the aged and afflicted. In the name Sisiel. The entity will find much in the present experience to remind self of those experiences through that period.
15. Abilities of the entity lie in that of the ministering or preaching through the various spheres or channels as given, either as the nurse, the minister, the teacher, or the actor in the various roles - especially that may be given from the various experiences through Richelieu's rule. Keep self in the way as given. First knowing self - for in knowing self one finds God. Keep thy paths straight.

1. 2/17/28 Mr. [195]'s wire: "Please make Life Rdg. for [97], born ... and send me Biltmore Hotel via air mail. Rush as this is for a new angle [900] and I are working on."
2. 2/18/28 Mr. [195]'s letter: "...very prominent movie star whose father is ill... We try to get her to take a Life Rdg. This should stimulate interest here and do a world of good. I brought along some papers but did not bring along that John Drew statement [5756-5] which would certainly interest the movie crowd."

REPORTS

1. 3/28 Mr. [195]'s letter: "Thanks for the 97-2. It was a very interesting reading as to the warning given in it...will do us a lot of good in the formation of a society there, but now we haven't the time to spare to stay on the job to get one started... Am to see Miss [97] soon at her home and when I do I will get her very interested as her mind runs along the psychic."
2. 2/27/40 Mr. [195]'s reply to questionnaire: "[97] has died in the interim and I am unable to answer the questions you ask. I do recall that the Life Rdg. gave a fine summary of her talents and character, most of which were developed in past incarnations... Her son as well as her father preceded her in death and there is no one to whom I can refer you."
