This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 9th day of August, 1929, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [99].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Dr. T. B. House, Mr. L. B. Cayce, Hugh Lynn Cayce, Mrs. Wood Gray, and Mr. C. A. Robinson.

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [99]. This we have had before. Now, we find there are improvements with the physical forces of this body, even though all the suggestions as given have not been followed in their routine.
  2. In the matter of the adjustments as are necessary to bring, with those medicinal and electrical vibrations as should be given - and which have not been given in the manner as outlined - these show there has not been the proper adjustments as yet made in the lumbar and sacral regions. These should be done more consistently with that attempting to be created in the eliminations and in the circulation, as is to be stimulated in body.
  3. We would now, for the medicinal properties in that of the combination as given, make half a dose - see? keeping at the same period, but only half a dose, and we would prepare THESE properties also to be given, and one pellet or capsule of each be given each evening, and we will find a change in the respiratory system, as regarding the circulation and the heart's action. Prepare as this: Take,

      Sulphate of Quinine.........30 grains,
      Muriated Iron...............20 grains,
      Rhubarb......................8 grains.

    Make into (when mixed well together) 30 capsules, or 30 pellets - and, as given, one given each evening.
  4. In the matter of the application of the reverse coil, or the sinusoidal ray, these are to act with the muscular forces as coordinate with central nerve system, and the locomotaries of the lower limbs; placing, then, one anode at or about the first portion of the sacral or last dorsal, the other at the 4th and 5th dorsal center, see? This should be given, beginning with only one and a half minutes. Increase as the contraction, or the activities of the system are stimulated. These should not be given more than once each week, at least for the next thirty days.
  5. Do that, and follow the diet and the manipulations more closely. We will find the body continuing to improve. Ready for questions.
  6. (Q) What causes the pains in the feet?
    (A) Non-cooperation of that in the locomotaries with the conditions as are created in the upper portion of the body. Lack of proper circulation.
  7. That is all the questions.

  1. 8/20/29 Mr. [99] became a patient in Cayce Hospital, his application stating the nature of his malady as a nervous condition which was first apparent years ago, and: "I started treatment after first reading 99-1, about July 20th." (He was treated there off and on through 10/03/29.)
