The impoverished condition of the rest of the system depends
on this, you see, from the condition we have here in the
stomach now. We destroy this and we see it is gradually
impoverished. Thus, we find the whole system here depended
on what is taken in here. If you don't get enough into
the stomach to supply life we don't have it. He has been
able to take it. It hurts, it don't hurt his head, his
stomach hurt, wore out, needs a new one to rebuild this one
and you cannot put a new one in it. To rebuild first
cleanse with water. Wash it clean, thoroughly fill the
system with water - pure water - and we take a light diet
(not flesh, but cereals and vegetables), until the system
is thoroughly cleaned and take iron and calcium. A reaction
from the blood to the lungs and get a fuller capillary
circulation. Digitalis and strychnine begin to supply the
need. It is wore out, and get enough into the stomach to
cleanse it thoroughly.
[
10/31/86 JT's note: It is assumed that [
134] had two
readings on the same day. The first version perhaps given
in the morning, and the second version given in the afternoon
- taken down by another steno. Paragraphs
5-7 below is the
second such version.]
LBC: You have before you [
134] what is the matter with
him? Begin at his head and tell us all about him.
EC: Pretty near worn out. Very poor capillary circulation
through the whole body especially near the head. Capillary
circulation very weak over the whole system, but particularly
down the spine and dorsal, cervical. Abnormal condition at
the eighth dorsal, second lumbar. Stomach is all shrivelled
up, too. Liver too large. Very much impoverished blood.
Circulation weak through the whole body but especially so
at extremities. Nerves very good considering the poor
circulation - pretty good nerves - pretty good will power.
Whole system run down for a lack of nutriment supplied by the
blood. Now, you see, we have in the system building material
for the brain, for the muscles and for the blood: these have
to be supplied and carried to the rest of the body by the
blood corpuscles, and carried to the rest of the body by the
blood corpuscles as nutriment - like iron in here or dirt in
here - impoverished conditions of the rest of the system has
made this impossible for the blood and corpuscles and they
have to be supplied with this nutriment or the whole system
will be impoverished.
I have not been able to detect any improvement, his whole
system is mighty near worn out. We can only help nature, we
cannot have new organs. We will first cleanse with water,
pure water, pump the stomach full and then pump it out.
After this, a light bath. Diet of cereals and vegetables.
When the stomach is thoroughly cleansed and repaired take
in iron calcium until you have reaction then stimulate with
digitalis. Before we begin to build up we have to thoroughly
cleanse the whole system, then it will be all right.
BACKGROUND
Because there are two versions of Reading 134-1, it is
assumed that [
134] had two readings on the same day.
Possibly the first copy was transcribed in the morning
by one stenographer, and the second was transcribed in the
afternoon by another. Both versions are included within
the Text of Reading 134-1 and is considered to be one
Reading.
