(Q) Dream of recent date. My mother appeared to me and her
eye was badly swollen. She wanted me to put something over
her eye. She called me aside to talk to me confidentially
and we both went into the bathroom. My mother again asked
for relief for her eye. "It has been given to others," she
said. "Why not to me?" Then clapping her hand over her
diseased eye she fell back into the bathroom dead!
(A) This is as an experience to the entity, that the body
conscious mind may be drawn into that attunement with those
universal forces - for, as the entity gains by each
experience, the knowledge of the application of universal
forces in the material world becomes in that way and manner
of the fullness of life. For, as is seen in the growing,
developing stages of the entity in its present physical
condition, there are those conditions in the spiritual planes
taking place that draw the whole entity near that at-oneness,
wherein the forces of the mother may communicate, or be drawn
near to that entity, see?
Then apply the lessons, the truths, given. For, as is seen
in this, had those same methods been applied to that
condition, the full force of that being manifested in the
entity might have been brought to its full course. And again
the warning to the entity, as has been given, is shown forth
- that the entity may bring self in that attunement with
conditions, that the full purport of that being enacted may
give the better to the forces as applied in the world today.
(Q) Does this definitely mean that the psychic activity,
that manifested as my mother in flesh form, now is aware of
the experience that caused the change from flesh to the
present 4th diminsional activity (death) and of the
treatment, as given by the readings, that would have made
unnecessary this eye experience causing the changed
conditions - i.e. death?
(A) Conscious of those conditions in that at-oneness of the
forces as are manifest between the two entities in this
condition, yes.
(Q) Is my mother trying to confirm this to me, that I may
learn and achieve greater faith?
(A) Giving the lessons, the experience, that that as has
been given may be accomplished in this entity, [
136].
(Q) Morning of August 17. My mother appeared to me. I saw
her very distinctly. She said to me: "You should go to the
osteopath. You ought to be ashamed of yourself! If [

wants you to go to the osteopath, you should go."
(A) She should go - just as has been directed in those
elements and those conditions, that the greater experience
may come in that way and manner. Again the lesson to the
entity, and the verifications of the truths as are seen and
have been given from time to time.
(Q) Did [
900]'s prayers that he has told me of, and that
were to the effect that just this should happen (i.e. that my
mother should join him in influencing me) in any way bring
about this experience, or rather would it have come to me
when it did, because I wanted my mother and needed her? The
latter explains the attunement - my mind with my mother's -
any bearing on the other condition [
900]?
(A) The prayers of the righteous shall save many. "Where
two or three are joined to-gether in one purpose, I am in the
midst of same." The combination, then, of both, - for the
supplication is putting self in that attunement to those
forces as manifest in the growth, the development, of
spiritual forces as are manifested in the material world.
(Q) Morning of September 4. Something seemed wrong with my
teeth. Germ of some kind in the gums.
(A) Rather again the warning, that what has been given that
the entity should use occasionally for teeth and gums be
applied. For the conditions which arise in the physical body
in this body-development from within call on all forces of
the physical body. Hence it puts the body in that at-onement
with all force. This, then, is as the warning, rather than
of specific conditions. Then apply that as has been given.
(Q) Dream of recent date. I was sick in a hospital and my
mother was with me. It was either to have my baby or that I
had a miscarriage again. Something seemed wrong with my
busts, and my mother said it should be remedied.
(A) Again we find this full correlation of this at-onement
and, as it were, the guiding forces of the mother directing
the body in its various conditions, and giving to the entity
that condition wherein that the body should prepare itself
for the reception of those forces necessary to give the
better life to that life dependent upon the entity. The
direct connection then - the entity should nurse the baby
itself, see?
(Q) Is anything wrong with my busts - just what and why?
(A) Nothing wrong - only that necessary preparation as needs
be for such conditions when this is to be done.
(Q) Summing up my condition in general - is it now more
favorable to health, strength and complete 9 month pregnancy?
(A) More healthful - in better condition in mind and in
body.
(Q) Morning of September 4, 1926. [
900] paid too much for
seats to theatre. They were in Row M. I was angry with him.
(A) Let not, then, those conditions that are seen in theatre
enter into that of the purpose in mind towards any condition
enacted from within. Not that the entity should not visit
the theatre. Rather choose those elements from same that are
as building experiences for conditions in the body-mind and
the body-force of the entity.
(Q) Morning of September 5. Mother ... and her home in
Indiana. There seemed to be ghosts there.
(A) Rather that indication of those fears, those thoughts
that do enter in regarding the physical health of individuals
of this household. Ghosts, then, of the mind, see? fear.
(Q) Morning of September 5. My mother appeared to me. She
said to me: "I am alive."
(A) (Interrupting) She IS alive!
(Q) (Continuing) "Something is wrong with your sister's
leg, or shoulder." (or both - I don't clearly remember)
"She ought see a doctor about it."
(A) This, as is seen, to the entity, is that experience
drawing closer and closer to that at-oneness with the
spiritual forces manifest through the at-onement of the
forces manifested in this material plane. For, as is seen,
the mother, THROUGH the entity's OWN mind, is as the mother
to all in that household. Warning, then, of conditions that
may arise, and of conditions existent. Then, warn the sister
as regarding same, see?
(Q) Now here is a definite proof - that if my mother can
tell me that something is the matter with my sister and of
which trouble I am ignorant, then I must conclude -
(A) (interrupting) Then the body is ignorant only in the
physical sense. The subconscious is in at-onement with the
mother and the sister, in the subconscious state, see?
Understand these conditions, as the entity attempts to gain
the lesson that is being given.
(Q) If it were only a dream of my own, why would my mother
direct my mind to a condition in space of which I am unaware
and towards which I have not turned my attention (i.e. my
sister's health), because I do not know of any ill health
there existing. It is evident, then, that some mind, namely
my mother's, that is able to cognize from a center of
consciousness that encompasses all of space is able to direct
my consciousness to this other consciousness. Thus the will
or desire of this higher seeing mind (my mother's) directed
my thoughts - ideas - or mind, to another condition of which
then my mother and myself, under the direction of her will,
both became aware, but of which the object of our
consideration (my sister) was not aware, but of which her
desire or will confined her center of consciousness to those
ideas which only the sensuous consciousness may use, not
permitting them to be put at the disposal of this higher will
or consciousness - i.e. my mother in the 4th dimension will
and allow the latter to dominate my consciousness (by
subjecting the physical - in sleep), that higher will (my
mother's desire) will make itself known to my consciousness,
which the latter will translate into ideas regarding any
condition that this higher will (or desire) is directing both
our center of consciousness, I alone may not do this, because
my will keeps the center of consciousness bound to my body,
but I may transcend my intellect and allow my mother's will,
the center of consciousness of which embraces all of space,
to direct my awareness to conditions in space, of which I
otherwise, would have no knowledge. IN CONCLUSION, THEN, it
is thru the intellect that I become an entity or
consciousness, capable of consciousness of the one will or
creative activity that embraces all other forms of this
creative activity - i.e. space. The intellect is the form
in which the form is filled with that necessary experience
that will make me conscious of the one creative desire or
will and the action of this will to extend the mind in either
of two directions - i.e. 4th dimensional creation, or when
inverted - extended or externalized in the second atomic
direction. Correct?
(A) Correct - with that as has been given as to direct the
modifications of same - correct.
(Q) Then, is there anything wrong with my sister, [

What? How remedied?
(A) Just as given. Be warned of this existent condition as
in limbs, through poisons from the system -
auto-intoxication. Increase eliminations.
(Q) Monday morning, september 13. I was struck by
lightning.
(A) Fear - which should be cast out, as is seen or manifest
through this condition. Only that as of fear, and the same
as is manifested, shown, in the relations to other conditions
and lessons as are being presented to the entity. This,
then, a portion of the whole.
(Q) Saw my mother - very sick. We had a reading for her
given by Cayce and taken by [
900]. A few of the treatments
suggested in the reading were administered. [
900] claimed
that a gradual and little improvement was indicated in my
mother's condition. The family, however, were impatient, and
complained they could see no improvement.
(A) This is the indication, this is the experience, this is
the lesson, to the entity of the various modes of how man
would work, and how the beneficient forces of all creative
energy are operating in the forces manifest in the material
world. For, as is seen, the lessons are as those given. Man
seeks to work fast, while creative energy unfolds little by
little, just as man's experiences open, little by little,
that knowledge of the creative forces as may be manifest
through man and man's action in the material world.
We are through for the present.
