This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 8th day of April, 1926, in accordance with request made by his brother, Mr. [900].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [137], of ... St., N.Y. City, and the dreams this body had on the dates which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from same, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind, [137]. This we have had before. The dreams, as we see, the visions, the impressions, come in the way and manner as have been given. Some body physical percepts. Some visions of the subconscious forces, and a weighing together of subconscious and physical forces as are manifested in the material or physical body mind. Ready for dream.
3. (Q) Monday night, April 5, or Tuesday morning, April 6, 1926. "Saw price of SIXTY-SIX."
   (A) This, as we see, the attempt of the body-mind to gain a concept of the price of individual stocks, and, as we see, is rather the correlation as is given in the number 6 - 6, bearing then numerical psychological condition toward the individual stocks in which the entity is interested, or as 6 and 6 - 12 - 1, 2, 3. This then, reduced, brings to this conclusion - the triune forces of that number in the action of the various stocks the entity interested in, also the action of the market. That is, we find there combined, from this day - April 6 to the 12th - these conditions: That of the improvement, or the action of an upward trend, until the covering of all shorts are made, and the general increase with the sudden down trend, see? recuperating later in week, see?
4. (Q) Does this pertain to a stock and stock price? Which stock?
   (A) Rather that as given - a general condition, numerically given through numbers, through the body-mind seeking an interpretation from the subconscious forces, and these are presented to the entity in numbers.
5. (Q) Has this any significance as regards the general market?
   (A) As given.
6. (Q) Tuesday night, April 6, or Wednesday morning, April 7, 1926. "I was buying Hudson Motors at 70."
   (A) This the action of the individual as toward a given stock. This, as we see, then, would indicate that the entity would, even though there has been advances, be able to purchase stock of Hudson Motors at 70. Then we would do so.
7. (Q) When?
   (A) Friday.
8. (Q) What does it signify - seeing the stock sold?
   (A) As we see, the DOWNWARD from the price as was at the time of the close, when the mind, physically, saw the condition. Sold DOWN to 70, see?
9. (Q) "I was buying Atlantic Coast Line at 151."
   (A) AGAIN we see a decline is to come in THIS, see? action from the individual self, see? The concept (this as a lesson to the entity) of the entity should be gained as of this: That wherein there is seen action in self toward certain conditions, as has been seen, would the entity only correlate these conditions together, action by self means action for self at a given time. Prices, as have been given ONLY as prices, when related to an individual, gives a different concept. Numbers alone to the individual is the psychological effect of conditions. The statements of individuals relate to different effects. Separate these. Do not mix these together, as to cause confusion to self.
