This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 13th day of July, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [195].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. [195].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body of [195], who is present in this room. You will answer the questions, as I ask them, regarding the physical conditions of this body. You will also answer the questions I will ask you regarding his business associations and investments.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see.
3. Now, we find the general physical conditions in the body better in many respects from that as we have had here before. While all conditions have not come to the normal, these are on the improve. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Why does not the hearing respond to the treatment as prescribed?
   (A) For the vibration as is produced for the body through the sensory organism has received that impression such as the rebuilding cellular forces has not increased these cells that produce that vibration sufficient to force the auditory forces to respond in their rebuilding. These should be treated deeper [osteopathically], and the general condition in the cervicals (that supply the body with the nerve branches, or incentives, from the cerebro-spinal nerve system to this portion of the body), should also be stimulated. We would use also, with this, those vibrations as will be found in this:
   Take a piece of carbon steel, 1/2" square, 4" long. Two such pieces of steel should be used. Fasten these together with a non-conductor between same. Glass or such nature, carbon or such nature. To each piece of the steel attach small insulated wires. To each wire attach a small band or plate, copper, metal. Each evening when body is ready to retire, attach one to the wrist, the other to the ankle, the plates, placing the bars of steel in a gallon or gallon and a half container of ice and ice water. Let same remain until the body wakes up, or in an hour to hour and a half. This will assist in equalizing the vibratory forces of the body and reduce the pulsation or pressure in heart's forces too. 5. (Q) Should this be used every evening?
   (A) Be used every evening.
6. (Q) Is the [electric] vibrator strong enough?
   (A) This does very good. These vibrations from this will be better than vibratory forces, save as of the treatments to the throat and to that stimulation in the cervical and upper dorsal region. These should be taken at least once each week.
7. (Q) The osteopathic treatments?
   (A) The osteopathic treatments should be taken once each week. The vibrations from the electrical forces and from ice each day [the Radio-Active Appliance], no matter how long this should be kept, but at least thirty minutes to an hour.
8. (Q) When will improvement be noticed?
   (A) In ten to fifteen days.
9. (Q) Will any additional treatment be necessary?
   (A) Not as we find conditions at present. No.
10. (Q) What is the condition of hair on head since last reading?
    (A) This shows that the irritation as is produced in the scalp is on the improve and that the hair is beginning to show improvement in the amount produced therein. The applications should be at least once each week, for five to eight more weeks. Then they may be made once each month. Oil and the alcohol rub.
11. (Q) Regarding his business associations and investments, will anything be derived from investments made with Mr. [4687] in ..., Colorado?
    (A) In this respect we have had these conditions here before. The situation has changed from that as we had before. The change as was made by [4687] in respect to the association was made as a test and not as expecting to succeed with same. There will come to this body, [195], some results from this association when least expecting same, for [4687] we find will succeed in making good in connection with the associations he is creating in the Wyoming district and in Denver and Colorado district, and will then make propositions to [195] to overcome, meet, pay up, that which was lost through this association. The property in fee as is given to the hands of [195], in Salt Creek, may be disposed of through some connections of the attorneys who handled the conditions in that district. The suits as have been filed by [4687] against others in respect to this will in part only be carried out, for these will be shifted, changed, turned about, from time to time, by counter suits, counter reactions, counter changes, until only a portion will reach a settlement and the greater part of that other than through court proceedings.
12. (Q) How can judgement of $2500.00 be collected against [4687], and when?
    (A) Will not be able to collect same for sixteen months yet.
13. (Q) Will the Gallaher Drug Company Common Stock investment prove profitable? When will dividend be declared on this Stock?
    (A) October. Small dividend. This will prove a profitable investment.
14. (Q) Will contemplated investment in Overland Common Stock and Kelly Springfield 8% preferred Stock at this time be advisable? Or would Florida land investment be more preferable than stock? In or near what City in Florida?
    (A) Florida lands would be more preferable for the quick returns on same, near Hollywood or Castle Heights.
15. (Q) Will money be derived from the spoliation claim to be again presented to the Government? When will it be settled?
    (A) This may be settled after a long try-out, by and through various channels. This claim may be made in such a way and manner, (for it has once been ordered paid) this may be presented through the right channels and taken up in such a manner as to be paid by the next Spring sessions, April or May. We would take these up through the representatives from the various districts as personal conditions and through the regular; that is channels, of attorney representation in such places, in Washington, and with the authorities who have the file over such claims from time to time. When these are presented in a full and correct manner, there may be received the full pay on same.
16. (Q) In the Florida investment what price would bring the best returns?
    (A) The higher price (that is, close to such places as Hollywood) will bring the quick and better returns. This, though, as we find, will be better in lots and in small plots as farms, or such as those used for the productive area, such lands. Around spuds (?) is good [a spud or spa area?] for this, as we find, is in a new developing area also.
