This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 W. 35th St., Va. Beach, Va., this 14th day of December, 1926, in accordance with request made by self, Mr. [195].

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [195], of ..., Ohio, and the dream this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from this dream as I read it to you. You will also answer any questions that I may ask you regarding business associations, and business conditions as concern this body directly.
2. EC: Yes, we have the entity here. The dreams, as we see, come to the entity through those channels as have been outlined through which dreams are made experiences in the mental body, and are through this means made applicable to the mental, material, or physical conditions regarding the entity's actions in the earth's plane, and are then for the application of the entity. Ready for dreams.
3. (Q) November 30, l926. It seems that I ran into Howard Huntington [who died 4 yrs. ago] and said "Hello, Howard." We stood talking for some time discussing some seemingly irrelevant matters. We then got on some more serious topic, and had an interesting discussion. Next day I couldn't remember the topic of our conversation.
   (A) In this there is presented, through the mental mind of the entity the studying of certain questions and phases of the mentality of entities. With the subjugation, then, of this entity's physical or body-conscious mind, there is this experience from subconscious mind contact, in which there appeared the mentality of an entity (spiritual) to the subconscious of, or a portion of the entity of this body, [195]. There is seen that the everyday, or the casual, or the irrelevant is discussed - showing that to the entity the conditions are one, yet presented in different forms to the entity. The discussion following becomes interesting to the entity, yet is not as the consciousness of the entity's being. And the seeking for the knowledge of same shows to the entity that with the body-consciouss seeking the know- ledge of those questions that may be of deep or profound interest to the mental forces of an entity, or individual, it may attain, or find, or be given, or experience those conditions that will bring much to the knowledge or understanding of an entity in the physical plane, even from the superconscious or subconscious entities' understanding from the spiritual plane. For, as is seen, much knowledge from the entity as seen will, or would, or might be used by the entity through the channels and endeavors and relations as were seen - preventing each in the physical plane to that way of bringing good, if applied in the correct way and manner, even in the physical plane in the present. Then, the entity experiences this condition, that more thought, more time, may be given to such use, should the entity so choose to apply same.
4. (Q) Will the new stock issue of the Unit Steel Corporation of Dayton, Ohio, be a good purchase at this time? Will it advance or go down from the present figure, and will company be successful?
   (A) There is seen that the entity's interest in this proposition is and could be made of such a nature as to be very beneficial to the undertakings of this corporation. The conditions as exist, irrespective of the entity's influence as respecting same, will be that the proposition will be a paying proposition, yet there will be some fluctuations in the price of same. The general trend, however, is that within two years this will be quite an excellent proposition, or between now and that time an excellent proposition to make money in - for, as is seen, with the changing of the manner in which some of the properties or the sale of certain commodities are supplied through these different territories, it will increase the prestige and advance the price. There are some connected with same that need watching. These have nothing to do with the condition at the present. The entity's association with same then it would be given as to who these would be - not without it, for, as we see, the proposition is being made now in which new territories (such as is seen in Wisconsin, through the Bailey company) are to be opened up. This will prove successful also in this territory. Not from the very first, but it will prove a success. Good investment.
5. (Q) How may the [182] Mfg. Co. [owned by [182] and [195]] be successful in securing orders for the measuring equipments in the several states - Standard Oil of Indiana and Ohio, New Jersey, and Sinclair Oil?
   (A) Through the direct association and the social activity of the entity with some individuals as associated and connected with same - for, as is seen, with the conditions being set as is being done through the various attacks upon the distribution of such oils through other means than of that that the Oil as is asked for is seen in its original containers, and distribution through measures in which the government shows are of the correct nature to give the correct supply - this added to these conditions, will bring about the better abilities of the [182] Mfg. Co. to furnish such equipment to and through these various channels. Approaching, then, such as those of the Standard of New Jersey first, in the young man that is son to the president of the Standard Oil of New Jersey, see? [195] knows this individual socially. Use same in a business manner - for, added to this attack by the newspapers upon the advisability of state legislation against these being taken from other than the correct containers, this will bring some legislation against same in different states - yet not in all. The attack will gradually work though to the advantage of such measuring properties and utilities, see?
6. (Q) Relative to investment in May Oats - when will this future be at its top quotation? About what price? When at the lowest quotation and what price?
   (A) Relative to these quotations, and to the conditions as regarding the oat market, the entity has had and has some experience as relative to same. Advances in these will be seen, with the high price, about the twenty-fifth (25th) of January - lowering off in February - some advances again in March, and a breaking. The highest, as we find at the present near the twenty-fifth (25th) of January. As to the lowest, these as we find, will be near the change, or the ides in March.
7. (Q) About what will be the high?
   (A) About a forty percent (40%) advance from present price. About a ten percent (10%) lower than the present for lower price.
8. (Q) Will the publicity on Bootleg Oil now being published in national magazines assist in eliminating bottles, and will state legislation now started help securing the equipment orders?
   (A) As given, these conditions, added to this legislation and the fact that legislation is being made, and that attacks are being made, this behooves, then, the [182] Mfg. Co., and [195], representative in same, to present these facts to these heads of these departments. That is the channel through which these may first be approached, for with the Standard Oil of New Jersey accepting same, so would Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and the subsidy companies, use equipment of this nature.
9. (Q) Will the distributing company of the Russel L. Bailey now being formed to handle Unit Steel products in Wisconsin be successful from the start, and a profitable investment?
   (A) As given - not so much at first, but successful in its termination - aiding, abetting, and assisting the general advance as will be seen in the next two years in this commodity.
10. That is all the questions.

   "Too bad about oats. When I requested rdg. it was 5 points lower; however, I got aboard at present price and hope to make a showing as predicted.
   "The dream advises more application to the occult, and the oil co. advice was very good, also the explanation of the situation relative to legislation, etc. However, I am at a loss to know where or when I met Mr. Bedford's son. I have written to two N.Y. friends and asked if I ever had met him. It might possibly have meant Mr. Teagle's son. Mr. Bedford is Chairman of the Board and Mr. Teagle is the President. Would like to get this started right away as it would mean a lot to us to line up the Standard Oil Companies."
