betinged, tinged throughout.
sprangle - a. To struggle. b. To sprawl.

lead - e (1) Steam Engines, etc. The width of port opening
at the end of the stroke; - called outside lead when
producing preadmission, and inside, or exhaust, lead when
connecting with the release or exhaust. (2) In an
internal-combustion engine, the distance, measured in actual
length of piston stroke or the corresponding angular
displacement of the crank, of the piston from the end of the
compression stroke when ignition takes place; - called in
full lead of the ignition. When ignition takes place during
the working stroke the corresponding distance from the
commencement of the stroke is called negative lead. f Mach.
The excess above a right angle in the angle between two
consecutive cranks, as of a compound engine, on the same
shaft. g Civil Engin. The distance of haul, as from a cutting to an embankment. In
computations of cost of earthwork, lead is often reckoned as
the sum of the horizontal and vertical distances covered.
h Mach. In spiral screw threads, worm wheels, or the like,
the amount of advance of any point in the spiral for a
complete turn. i Elec. (1) A conductor conveying electricty,
as from a dynamo. (2) The angle between the line joining the
brushes of a continuous-current dynamo and the diameter
symmetrical between the poles. (3) The advance of the
current phase in an alternating circuit beyond that of the

4/02/28 Mr. [
195]'s explanation received in dream of why the
[
4666] motor works. [Read in relation to 195-51, Par. 9-A.]
"Theory of Motor Working - The phrase 'getting something from
nothing' is incorrect - for we know there is no such a thing
as nothing. We do know that everything is a force or some
form of energy. We do not know the relation of these forces
of energy to each other - or, in other words, the Relativity
of Force - but we can assume that this relationship exists.
Therefore, in the case of our motor, when we look at the two
substances, water and air, we look at them as forces, and by
using a mechanical contrivance to accentuate and retard
these forces at the right time it is possible to utilize the
resultant force or Component force. This is what has been
done in [
4666] Motor."
