FM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now,
Mr. Cayce, you are asleep. All the organs of your body will
function properly, and you will hear me and answer all of my
questions. You have before you this afternoon the body of
[
245] ... Avenue, West End, Birmingham, Alabama. Now, Mr.
Cayce, I want you to go over this body that you have before
you from head to foot, and examine the body carefully, and
tell me of any ailments or disorders that you may find
within this body, and then tell me what will cure or relieve
the body from the conditions that you find.
EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal
conditions through this body, - there are some of them that
may be corrected; there are others that may be assisted, and
by the development of the body through the physical forces,
eventually the growth will assist as much as by any other
means of its coming to a normal condition again, provided,
however, the correct incentives are given to the proper
organs to produce that in the system that would combat with
the conditions as they are developed, and as development in
the physical body grows from cycle to cycle. Now, these are
the conditions as we find them in this body, - [
245], we are
speaking of.
The blood supply in this system we find is very good, save
that some properties that have been taken into the system to
produce a better co-ordination with the nervous system, have
caused the blood to become sur-charged with much of the
elements that should be eliminated through the emunctory
circulation. The predisposition of the body, or rather of
the blood forces in the creative centers, - that is the
intestinal indigestion centers that create new blood, - are
acted on by the condition as this is created in the blood.
So this we see must be one of the conditions that is to be
considered when we give the proper incentives to the
developing forces through the body.
The nerve system, we find those of the cerebro-spinal
forces, as shown in the system, are acted upon more through
the improper co-ordination forces of the pneumogastric where
it enters the cerebellum, for we have at times congestion at
the first cervical, and it, - the congestion, - re-vibrates
or gives off to the muscular system at that time a
counteracting force, or an involuntary acting force to the
muscles of the extremities, and a reaction to the
pneumogastric that causes the condition that comes to this
body at such times. This apparently has existed for some
time back in this body, and has produced more from an outside
impression than from conditions that became of internal or
hereditary condition. Yet the condition in the
pneumogastric, and its action on the stomach itself, is
produced we see when the body is over-loaded, as it were, or
contains certain or an extra amount of foods in the system.
The functioning of the organs themselves in this body, we
find the brain force itself acted upon by the congestion
as produced at the first cervical, yet capable of
development when not hindered by this condition.
The throat and larynx present an abnormal condition,
spasmodically. This is from the condition that we find as
thrown off from the pneumogastric in its action when
attempting to co-ordinate with the functioning nerve centers
that branch about this center that governs the nerves and
muscles of the throat and larynx.
The lung forces only present the condition as would be
expressed by the condition as described in the body.
The heart action shows the effect of the nerve forces, yet
it is not organic disorders in its functioning.
The stomach presents a smallness as would be found by the
contraction of the walls of the lower end of the stomach,
produced by the nervous forces in the body.
The liver and the pancrean forces present a condition of a
plethoric nature, yet not one of an organic condition, for
the development in the body carries more than the action as
yet of the blood, if the blood has been in the organ itself.
At times it is necessary to give properties to produce the
proper functioning of the organs, - the liver we are speaking
of, - for the sedimentary forces have led its action to
become voluntary rather than involuntary, except at times,
as does the action of the kidneys, for they show the effect
of this reaction to the kidneys in the hepatic circulation
especially.
To give the proper relief then to this body we must take
into the system a general tonic for the whole body, to give
the proper incentives to the body. This we would find in
this compound, which will be given regularly, every third
day, each dose should be given until there are 10 or 12
doses taken in the system:
Bromide of Potash..............1/2 grain,
Iodide of Potash...............1/2 grain,
Yellow Saffron...................1 grain,
Senna............................1 grain,
Cascara Sagrada................1/2 grain.
This we see would be one dose, you see.
After this has been taken into the system [every 3rd day for
10-12 days] we would then begin to relieve the congestion as
found at the first cervical through osteopathic manipulation,
but do not begin with this until these medicinal properties
have been taken into the body and we have had the reaction
from same, which would be 5 days after the 12th dose was
taken.
This we would do to correct the condition as we find them in
this body.
(Q) Mr. Cayce, this body hasn't talked since its sickness.
Will these medicines that you have given correct his speech
so he can talk? [Aphonia?]
(A) (Repeating question) We have given that the congestion
is the cause of the conditions through the larynx, you see.
The medicinal properties are only to correct the system so
that the effect of the osteopathic adjustments and forces
will correct the other conditions in the body.
(Q) How old was this body when it first contracted this
sickness, or disease?
(A) (Repeating question) It has been 93 moons since the
congestion has caused this condition. Follow the lines as
we have given, to correct the nerve forces with the blood,
and then by a deep manipulation at the first cervical we will
correct this condition in this body. We are through.
Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading you
have just given. You are feeling all right, and all the
organs of your body will function properly. You are feeling
good. Now, wake up in 2 minutes feeling fine and all right,
and absolutely free from headache.
