1. [257]: Now you will have before you the body of [257], who is present in this room, in reference to his physical, mental and financial. Also his connection and association with Louis Francis at Woodfin factory, Asheville, N.C., and Ben Lauterstein and Mr. Lowe at N.Y. office of Federal Furniture Factories. When you have located these parties, we will ask you questions in reference to these people, and the physical condition of [257]. You will answer slowly and distinctly, and in detail.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body [257]. Also those associations with those individuals, as individuals, as have been given. Some of these conditions, relations and associations, we have had before.
3. In the physical forces of the body, these we find show improvement from that as we have had before. There is needed sufficient time for the resuscitation and recuperation of the physical forces of the body, that the whole physical and mental may function the nearer normal. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) If the body stays in Virginia Beach through Monday, will that be sufficient?
   (A) Be sufficient for that time.
5. (Q) Have the teeth been given proper attention locally?
   (A) Yes, that's very good.
6. (Q) What causes the pain in the lower molar on the right?
   (A) This rather that of reflex from conditions that have existed, and with the depleted condition of system - non-elimination of drosses from the system - as the body shows resuscitated reaction, or the building up, the pressure is produced in retraction. Hence, as has been given, the necessity of the body's finding better and nearer normal reaction for the body, else there will again occur the condition where it is easy to contract congestion, or to become subject to congestion, either from the centers in the system that have to do with tissue, or disturbance of digestion, that again has to do with tissue; that is, too easily broken down by the system not being nominally physically balanced in the eliminating and assimilating system. As given, the body should have from two to three weeks REST, mentally and physically. Would the body DO with less, then pay the price!
7. (Q) While the body is in Virginia Beach, is it alright to take the exercise that it took today?
   (A) Not take over amount, but WELL that exercise of the character and nature be taken. Don't go too fast at it, and try to take it all at once and try to get it all in while here. Better spread it out many more days and make it less!
8. (Q) Should the body join a gymnasium in N.Y.?
   (A) Joining it wouldn't do any good. To use the exercises from same would be very well.
9. (Q) Should body take anything inwardly at this time?
   (A) Why poison the system when the proper conditions have been given for the proper BALANCING of the system through a NORMAL condition for the body? Medicinal properties at times are poisons ever for a body. At others they are necessary to counter-balance other poisons. As has been given for the system here, this body, there is seen the condition existent where there is only needed the sufficient time for the body PHYSICALLY to adjust itself into a nominal way and manner. Take heed! for this has been given!
10. (Q) In reference the business, would this proposition be acceptable to Lauterstein and the firm, of $500 per week, 3% commission on all personal sales above $500,000 for Federal, and 2% on all Rockford Sales Corporation business?
    (A) Should be. Be some bickering about it, though, before it would be accepted.
11. (Q) What attitude should [257] take if the bickering begins?
    (A) That of "Take it or leave it".
12. (Q) What arrangement should be made by [257] on other duties that are now coming up in other divisions of the business?
    (A) This has been gone over sufficient for there to be used some discretion as to the activities as respecting same. Don't be afraid of doing too much, for when the activities have been sufficient to attract, or draw, or call the attention of many of those who finance, oversee or attend to the duties of others, don't fail them when you are just at the gaining point.
13. (Q) Why should Mr. Lowe -
    (A) (Interrupting) This is again, we find, that of jealousy existent - EASILY.
14. (Q) Please advise attitude of [257] -
    (A) (Interrupting) With a loving indifference ever approach this condition that exists! Don't be afraid of conditions as they arise! DON'T be afraid of the INDIVIDUAL being able to sow seed (which this body tries to do) that would cause worries or troubles between others concerning the activities of the body [257]! but with loving indifference carry on, irrespective! Let him work his OWN head off!
15. (Q) Should [257] continue his investments in the Sears-Roebuck business?
    (A) Very good, for these are just beginning. Be many reactions. Take it often enough to make self safe. Then take when that's gained, and there will never be a necessity of being losses.
16. (Q) How often -
    (A) (Interrupting) Every three weeks should be the change in the activities of same, for these - as seen - run in cycles, see? With the many expansions as are being made with this, these have only begun - for be sure to be in when the April business opens, for there will be a melon, or a division, see?
17. (Q) As to Western Union -
    (A) Oft, as has been given, there are a few times in an individual's life when he may purchase Western Union. These, with radio and radio corporation, are to be the exceptional reactions in the next great changes in financial undertakings. The activities of these combinations, as has been given, will more than startle many a financier in the bigness of the undertaking. Billions will be small in comparison to the outlay that will be represented by those of the Western Union and other telegraph and telephone and radio - for they come as one. Will be. 18. (Q) Should the policy be to buy and hold?
    (A) Buy and stick away in a little box and forget you got it! [See 257-36, Par. 27-A--28-A on 4/07/29.]
19. (Q) Will International Tel-Tel -
    (A) Forget about this for the time being! Wait until more comes on.
20. (Q) Freshman Radio Corporation of N.Y.?
    (A) Subsidy in action; yet will have its play - but some connections with same not savory. Don't play too much without getting burned here.
21. (Q) Would be safe to hold three weeks?
    (A) Safe to hold three weeks - but what would be gained in three weeks in this?
22. (Q) They expect a big melon -
    (A) Be bad expectancy in some directions! Some will be mighty good. On the inside would be well, but on the regular - or the general - won't mean so much.
23. (Q) N.Y. Central R.R.?
    (A) Always well and good, though there are many fluctuations - yet the general trend for some little time yet is to be upward.
24. (Q) National American of N.Y.?
    (A) Better.
25. (Q) Is that safe to hold over a long period?
    (A) Not too great a length of time, unless OWNED is fee, simple - as speculative. Short turns may not be so great in quantity, but much safer on many of these that are speculative in their nature. While, as we find, such as those as have been given in telephone, Western Union, Sears-Roebuck, N.Y. Central, Texas Pacific, Union Pacific - these represent different conditions, for they are stable, and the abilities of the individual handling same are beyond question. While there may be fluctuations and variations in all of these at times, and great breaks - as it were - with the general market, yet these represent a stability to the whole COUNTRY at large - for much DEPENDS UPON the success. And was it not long since given, if there be ten faithful will it not be spared?
26. (Q) Should [257] interest himself in the land and oil holdings of [1963] of ..., Oklahoma, the information which we have here in this room?
    (A) These represent actualities, and sound safe investment. Interesting self with those that are of the same mind or calibre of self in same, would be well. Interesting those that would make of same because it IS of a sound nature, a MEANS to acquire moneys quickly, DON'T DO IT!
