(Q) How much stock of Albert Pick Company should [
257] ask
for as his interest for work done?
(A) That which will equal at least four percent of the
additional added stocks or goods to the assistance of the
company, see?
[
257]: I don't see.
I see you don't! As the added assistance rendered by [
257]
through the associations, see? No?
[
257]: No.
As the added help that [
257]'s association has given,
or the increase in the business as has been - at least four
and a half percent of same.
[
257]: I understand that.
That's it!
(Q) Which stock of the Albert Pick Company should [
257]
receive?
(A) The holdings.
(Q) Is that different from the present common stock?
(A) Different.
(Q) The Amrad Corporation of Boston cancelled an order.
They want to make a fair settlement. What will be fair?
(A) The actual amount of that of the product, see, before
finishing. No, not just the plain wood, see?
[
257]: The cabinet work complete?
The cabinet work complete - not finished cabinet.
(Q) Will they pay it?
(A) That's a fair equity, if they desire a fair equity as
stated, they'll pay it.
(Q) Should [
257] hold their stock which he now has?
(A) Hold it. Be good stock.
(Q) Should [
257] endeavor to advertise and buy television
patents?
(A) Well!
(Q) Where would be the best country to seek them?
(A) Finland and Germany.
(Q) What is the best way to proceed to get this information?
(A) Through any of those channels through which one proceeds
to protect themselves in these various countries. Or, what
would be termed in this country, through the patent office.
(Q) What other field would it be well for [
257] to study
for expansion?
(A) That change as will come through the moulding processes,
as finishings of furniture, cabinets, and such. New idea,
yes! but its coming!
(Q) Do you mean photographs on wood?
(A) All MOULDINGS and pressed patterns, as will be added to
these as the changes come. We are getting away from the
plain designs, as has so long been in vogue, or as the better
goods at present - but, as inlays, as outlays, in various
forms and patterns, pressed wood, composite wood, photographs
of the various old scenes in and on wood.
(Q) What is the best country for that development?
(A) France.
(Q) Is the wood products company progressing satisfactorily?
(A) Very!
(Q) Can [
257] do anything to help Molloy now?
(A) Doing very good. Don't disturb him just yet. He has
ideas, and let him work some of these out. Call the halt
only when he gets too big for his breeches.
(Q) Will that be necessary soon?
(A) Not just yet. Just keep a check on things.
(Q) Should [
257] endeavor to make a connection with
Sears-Roebuck Company for radio cabinets?
(A) By all means!
(Q) Should he continue holding Sears-Roebuck stock?
(A) Hold it!
(Q) Did he make an error in not taking the profit at 169?
(A) Could only have doubled it that way!
(Q) Should he buy more at this time?
(A) When it is below 52, buy!
(Q) When should he sell Sears?
(A) When its near 80, or above 70.
(Q) Is June the time -
(A) For a BREAK, yes!
(Q) Should he sell before the break and buy in later?
(A) It will go below the holdings. As was given for this
in the beginning, only buy that that may be paid for
outright, for there are few holdings other than Macy's, or
some of the other PRODUCTS, that offer the greater
opportunity in REAL investments, or as real speculation in
such goods or commodities.
(Q) Then it would be well to hold Sears until it reaches
that point?
(A) Well. Unless it comes with a quick advance to near 70
in the first week or weeks of June. Then sell. Then watch
the break, near the 15th to 20th - then buy and go up with
it again!
(Q) Is June the time for Cayce and [
257] to go west?
(A) Very good time.
(Q) Should they go as far as Oklahoma?
(A) Very good.
(Q) Is that the proper time to discuss the oil propositions
that will react for their personal good and the hospital's
benefit?
(A) Not yet.
(Q) Should anything be said at that time?
(A) Discussion may be done, but not action YET, for oils
are to offer some very peculiar antics in the coming summer
months.
(Q) Should [
257] purchase any communication stock now?
(A) Tel & Tel is very good.
(Q) Should [
257] attempt to work a deal to sell the Carolina
Wood Products factory to the Graybar Co.?
(A) And go with the company! Very good!
(Q) Is that advisable, to leave his associates?
(A) When he sells the whole company, Graybar can buy'em all!
(Q) What company would be the best one at the present time?
to contact for its best advantage?
(A) ANY of those that are not doing so well except for
their location, see?
(Q) Do you mean the companies owned by Albert Pick Co.?
(A) Albert Pick Co. Their location is WONDERFUL for an
outlet. Their present MANAGEMENT such that not doing as
well as they should.
(Q) What changes should take place in the management?
(A) With the sale, there would be much taking place in
change. We are through for the present.
