(Q) What will be the final price?
(A) This will depend a great deal upon the bankers in St.
Louis. Hence the opening, or the propositions from there -
see? These are not set, and there is a great deal of leeway
or latitude to be made - but [
257]'s interests will remain in
too near the same figures - see? May be some shifting in
stock or holdings, or exchange in the various conditions, yet
in their whole will mean the same - or near.
(Q) Will the General expect a bigger part than he has
requested from [
257]?
(A) No.
(Q) Will he get his commission from Zonite as before?
(A) From Zonite as before.
(Q) How often should I consult the Forces from now on, as to
this settlement of the deal?
(A) Whenever it's necessary, or entanglements arise between
individuals as their approach from the various phases of the
developments - see?
(Q) What will be the best plan for financing the company?
(A) This depends a great deal upon the situations in
general, and in a whole these will be financed through stock
issues, through the various channels as has been heretofore -
then some underwriting in specific places or conditions -
see?
(Q) Who are the best bankers and group to work with in
N.Y.?
(A) Those channels through which this has been given are the
best to work with.
(Q) Should we start this in Chicago at the same time?
(A) At the same time.
(Q) Should [
257] make the direct contact or through the same
bankers?
(A) Make some direct and then put the two together - see?
(Q) Should I talk to Mr. Cushing of Bank of Italy Blair
group?
(A) Be very well. There will be some leads from there that
will be very much worth while.
(Q) Should I do this before my visit to St. Louis, or after?
(A) After.
(Q) Should I make all contacts after my visit to St. Louis?
(A) After the visit to St. Louis.
(Q) Will the St. Louis group make any attempt to keep me
from sharing the commissions, or to allow anyone else to
handle the deal?
(A) As we find, these may be made most satisfactory through
those channels as outlined - see? and if made satisfactory
through these there will not be the interference.
(Q) When should I see grove and what should I say and do
about the deal?
(A) After these contacts have been made, and negotiations
are ready for their analysis again - see?
(Q) Should I not see Grove when I see Orr on the 25th?
(A) If seen, be rather casual - rather than of a specific
condition, other than what might be brought up at such a time
- by a casual meeting.
(Q) Could I consistently go and not see him?
(A) Could consistently go - wouldn't be very well, but as a
casual - rather than of a specific nature. Just as handled
before - see?
(Q) Please tell me exactly my procedure day by day as the
Forces did in 1929, so I can again close the deal for the
benefit of all the good the Forces have planned for me and my
associates.
(A) In the beginning, begin first with the opening of those
negotiations with those of old first, see? Then make those
approaches through the General to those groups who are
interested in the closing of same - see? Then make the
connections for those in the St. Louis - see? Then get it
all together.
(Q) Regarding physical condition - what causes and will stop
itching in inner ear?
(A) This a form of dry eczema. Wiggle the neck a little
more and we will stop this. Keep the water out of it.
(Q) What will stop itching on toes?
(A) Keep wiggling the neck!
(Q) What will cure the dandruff?
(A) Those of the oil and alcohol will be the best for the
dandruff.
(Q) What proportions?
(A) Use those of the crude oil - see? about one to ten -
see? with those of olive oil - and follow this shampoo with
one to twenty of eighty-five percent alcohol.
(Q) Any other advice on the physical at the present time?
(A) Follow that as outlined. That will be the better in the
present. We are through for the present.
