This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the home of [257], N.Y.C., this 9th day of March, 1933.

TEXT

1. EC: We have the body, [257], associations, relations, those conditions as exist as problems under the existing conditions in all relations to the undertaking of [257] Corp.
2. In considering the varied interests, also those conditions as present themselves as problems as well as general conditions as exist in relationships to the undertakings of the body, [257], as we find as has been indicated, while interests in varied conditions or various interests may be of help and aid to the body in establishing self in a financial way and manner, the greater part of endeavors should be in that, that is undertaken as of the Corporation and its interests, or in those problems as respecting refrigeration and the kindred interests, for as we find when there has been a re-establishment of the general conditions thruout this country that this, the activities in refrigeration will be one of the big interests and offers a channel that is worthy of the best efforts of the body - and connections and associations in the various centers where interests, associations and connections are being made, offer the opportunity for an establishing of self in a way that will justify the expenditure of self in this direction. These conditions in general will become established by latter portion of the present month, or by the 28th or 29th will see definite results from the efforts of those that are endeavoring to bring some constructive influence in the general conditions throughout the country, and by early days of June will see business in a flourishing outlook.
3. In the manner then as we find, these offer the greater opportunity in the whole of the outlook, while there may be specific interests here and there that may bring some returns, that would justify an interest to be shown, but greater interest should be in this field of endeavor - refrigeration.
4. (Q) Murphy.
   (A) This would be to be sure, dependent on how far-reaching this would be, but for interests of the connection and association that will be brought through efforts of body is trustworthy.
5. (Q) Has he handled O'B & Duffy...?
   (A) This will be best indicated by the reception and as has been indicated - the first and initial orders that will be placed, the connection and further shown in subsequent interest brought through him.
6. (Q) Downey...?
   (A) As has been indicated, here too, for as respecting the connection, and as given here, the way has been opened, the service as may be accorded by the product itself will be an opening wedge; hence the manner in which [257] would handle the situation is not to over-promise, oversell, but be sure that there is the service given with the initial or first orders. There is not necessity of making too big or too broad a promise either in price, or in quality - yet quality and service and quality of production must be - to or greater than those of any of those accorded this organization.
7. (Q) [Wife, [903]'s, radio program]?
   (A) There is little advice or counsel other than the character of reception as is given at those periods, there is already evinced satisfaction in the manner in which this is put on, getting then the responses is the manner in which this is shown, by asking or seeking for response from these to whom service is rendered.
8. (Q) What original program of [903] by self?
   (A) Any as pertain to that same interest in the interim - and developing of tendency of more of the awakening of interests in such a program - as develop that space of human experiencing, doing - either from we ... (?), how Folk Lore programs develop or the history and development - as related to groups, state or localities, for these of themselves, not only awaken the imagination of those in such an interest, but are making desirably for individuals to express themselves in the directions.
9. (Q) Cayce, & [...] on air?
   (A) This may be developed provided this is the proper presentation of the work as a developing interest in the lives, and experience in lives, of individuals and not curiosity. For such to be of service or value must be made a practical development in the experience of individuals. So present, for individuals to consider with the experience that comes to them in all walks of life. Such in the manner.
10. (Q) Sugrue - 1st.
    (A) Necessary such skits in presentation drawn for and given periods and presented to the f... and service - for then O.K.
11. (Q) When - any season? McCosker.
    (A) Better that same be presented in such a manner of interest to Mr. McCosker. [Work:EC]
12. (Q) Channel to McCosker?
    (A) That already made. Better [Ira] Hirschmann to handle same. Seems far-fetched but best to go.
13. (Q) Hirschmann? Best way to interest.
    (A) Best that a series - one or two presentations of that, that is of particular interest to Hirschmann, present to Forces - there may be shown the practicability of that desired or developed to ideas in mind of Hirschmann.
14. (Q) [257]'s best contacts for selling [...]? [for quick returns.]
    (A) This presents a problem - necessitate drawing on many of conditions of problems that present themselves - we find best way the contacting through many of channels, as are open to the body, not in a sneaking way, but by seeking into individuals who are in need or who desire to use that they hold in form of heirlooms or the like as a means; changing, then, initial position at present time, some of more recent associations or connections as have been made may be opened - opened up short time, be made several months' needs.
15. (Q) Jewelry? Jewelry and wearing apparel. Who best entree?
    (A) The Wendells or associates through them. [Ten Eyck Wendell?]
16. (Q) Cayce to Wendell?
    (A) Rather there is a channel through which such a connection or disposal or outright sale may be made. Associates and friends of Wendell's.
17. (Q) Wendell over phone?
    (A) Best that the engagement be made in person and this gradually broached in ethical manner. Lunch or dinner, as like seeking that there is a connection, may be known, or this association; some desire to make a sale, make a loan on such as security, not desiring going through regular channels. These will lead to some astonishing and satisfactory results.
18. (Q) [257] - Miller.
    (A) Whenever convenient but no special exhibition. Would be well.
19. (Q) [Inflation in this country? Will we go off gold standard?] [See GD's note in Reports of Reading, 257-104, in re bracketed questions.]
    (A) Country not off gold standard but go to action is called Gold Bar standard but not an actual inflation, that is increase in amount of specie without the actual collateral in specified manner as was inde --- by Cleveland - well here now.
20. (Q) [Effect in business circles? Stock market?]
    (A) Not abnormal. Will be local. Not general. Stock market, if any decline, short sale. Do not specialize. (?)
21. (Q) [In re harassment by [900-137 Brothers] via Mrs. [3734]'s lawsuit against me, should I contact her priest, Father...?]
    (A) As this has already been presented - it must stand, then can through all legal technicalities be shown, was and is, presented properly, only need of a technician, in this particular line to recheck and show properly, correctly.
    This is dirty work.
