(Q) Why does my head feel tired, and the back of my head
stiff?
(A) The circulation required is through the lower portion of
the body, which has drawn the blood away from the head.
Then the body has had those positions in the activity where
an extra amount of draft has come on the shoulders and back
of head. This, then, combined with the general disturbance,
produces the stiffness.
When we create a balance in the circulation, and when the
massage with the adjustments and stimulations are made in the
central portion, these portions will necessarily be relaxed
also.
(Q) Any particular diet for the next few days?
(A) Those foods that are stimulating to the gastric flow, or
use a little of the combine of Lactated Pepsin with the Milk
of Bismuth. This will assist in absorbing and also supplying
digestive forces for the system. The dose would be a
teaspoonful of the Milk of Bismuth to which there would be
added eight to ten drops of the Elixir of Lactated Pepsin,
AFTER meals - for it works with the gastric juices that are
begun. Take it about once a day; not three times.
(Q) Would you recommend my going to Dr. Foord's Sanitarium
in Kerhonkson, N.Y.? (In the valley back of Kingston) or any
other place for a few days of recuperation?
(A) This, as we find, would NOT be necessary if the body
does not work night and day! Take the periods of REST!
Rather BUDGET the time, and take time to play as well as
work; and we will find this will be much more preferable to
just taking a few days rest and then working night and day!
Rather adjust the system!
Do these.
(Q) How can gas in intestinal tract be reduced?
(A) With those properties as indicated, and - of course - by
the use of Soda enemas when necessary.
But with the use of these properties, this will be thrown
off, as indicated, by the activity through the alimentary
canal - the taking up and making for activities through the
kidneys, throwing off the poisons in excess there.
Do these.
We are through for the present.
