(Q) How soon may headaches be expected to be over?
(A) Not until there has been not a strain but a general
reaction through the alimentary canal and the removal of
the inflammation that has caused those distresses through
the lower portion of the duodenum, the jejunum and colon.
We would find that the enemas would be most efficient at the
present time.
Then we would take internally during the day, for rest,
Silosan Compound, see; and in the evening leave same off.
We would take one tablet about every two and a half hours
apart until the body rests well.
Leave off the [Tartaric] packs, unless the applications now
are to the head and to the feet - of something cool; not cold
or ice cold but cool to the head.
And we would have a general massage, especially from the
upper dorsal, or about the 6th dorsal to the base of the
head. The chiropractic treatment from one such as is
associated in this vicinity would be well.
[Dr. Ernest P. Phillips, D.C.]
In the evening, however, take two Zilatone tablets.
We should feel by morning quite a change.
The properties [given in
261-22] for the settling of the
stomach have been effective, yet under the present conditions
these make for a tendency of a thickening of the coating on
the tongue. So leave these off. [See 261-23, Par. 4-A.]
The Silosan Compound will make for first a little nausea;
the second will be better. By the time the third is taken
the body should rest easy.
Then the Zilatone should cleanse the system.
And by Tuesday the body should be able to return to work.
The diet should be made a little more strengthening,
especially on the morrow; though today and in the evening
the citrus fruit juices or lemonade or grapefruit juices
or limeades will be very satisfactory.
(Q) Is there any congestion in the sinus?
(A) The natural slowed circulation makes for congestion,
but a couple of those treatments from the areas indicated
should set up drainages with the relaxing of the body
through the properties as indicated (that are as a sedative,
yes - and as a cathartic), but these should work together
now.
We would have one treatment by the manipulations in the early
afternoon and another when the body is ready for sleep.
(Q) Was the limewater and cinnamon water prepared properly?
[See 261-22.]
(A) Leave this off now. This was not properly put together,
because the ingredients were altered in the manners as well
as to the proportions. Part of it was too old.
Do these things, though, as we find, as has been indicated.
Have the manipulations right away or in the early portion of
the afternoon. Following same take the COMPOUND Silosan; not
Silosan alone but Compound Silosan, see? There would be
about two or three tablets taken. Then in the evening or
night take two of the Zilatone. In the evening also, of
course, have another of the another of the treatments or
adjustments.
The body should rest, and the body should be free of the
headaches by the early part of the evening.
The eliminations begin tomorrow; the strengthening will then
be increased through the foods for the day and evening.
The eliminations with the colonic irrigations or the like,
these should be begun before the manipulations or the
sedatives.
We are through for the present.
