(Q) What causes mucous condition in intestines, and what
should be done to correct it?
(A) As just indicated, there should be added sufficient of
the elements and forces that will produce a greater or better
lymph circulation. You see, it is in the activity through
the body, especially in throat, lung and intestines
especially, that the greater portion of the circulation is
carried on; through what may be called the SYMPATHETIC or the
superficial circulation - and is of the lymph and emunctory
nature.
Then, when there is a deficiency in the blood stream to such
an extent that it impoverishes especially those portions of
the system, there comes the inclination for accumulations in
such measures and manners. For the activity of the lymph is
to pass through the organ itself, as it were, as is necessary
through the activity of the whole of the intestinal tract.
While there are ducts and glands and lymph throughout, both
internally and externally, when these become impoverished by
the lack of circulation in same it produces an inflammatory
condition which through the stool would indicate mucous -
sometimes even bloody conditions, see?
Hence if we would build up the resistances in the blood
stream by a greater quantity of lymph, these will take on the
lymph first - for it is the white portion or the watery
portion. Lymph flows through the lymph ducts and lymph
glands, and is a part of the whole nerve circulation. Hence
in the superficial portions it expresses or manifests itself
in networks over all portions of the abdomen, through the
groin, and works through those activities along the mammary
glands and salivary glands, and all portions of the
alimentary canal.
(Q) Should I continue Castoria and Alophen, and how often?
(A) If this is necessary for keeping the eliminations and
stimulations for the circulation, very well. BETTER than
allowing accumulations in waste to become reabsorbed; else we
might have a greater excess of this mucous or of those
inflammatory forces that would gradually produce pressures
upon the circulation in such measures as to become a great
distress to the heart's activity.
(Q) What is the condition of my heart, and should anything
be done for it?
(A) Build up something for it to work with!
(Q) Would surf-bathing and then lying on sand benefit me?
(A) If this is not done in such a way as to make too great a
strain upon the superficial circulation, it would be MOST
beneficial. The BETTER manner would be to DIP, as it were;
be wet, and covered with dry sand - not wet sand, of course.
Then have a rinse-off afterwards. Lie in such a way and
manner that the sun, of course, is not too much upon the face
and doesn't find portions of the body exposed too much, so as
to make for too great a burden.
(Q) Is menopause taking place, and what effect will it have
on the growth?
(A) This hasn't fully begun yet; though we are finding a
lessening through the lack of sufficient circulation for the
glands, and for the ACTIVITY of same; being deficient in the
blood force for elimination, and for the functioning of the
glands in these relations. Hence these cause disturbance,
and at other times there is a slight increase.
As to the effect this will have upon the growth, it will
depend upon how this is cared for or handled, as to the
quantity of the circulation. This will make for a strain, of
course, as the circulation changes.
(Q) What would strengthen my eyes?
(A) Use glasses more, as well as a better circulation for
the supplying of activities to all portions of the system
would aid! As all portions of the sensory forces are in
effect NERVE activity, impoverishment weakens, deteriorates
the functioning of all; as it does the taste, the odor,
hearing, as well as the sight.
(Q) What is the condition of the end of my spine, and should
anything be done for it?
(A) This should have been done long ago!
This as we find produces a pressure and a strain especially
when the body attempts to walk any great distance, or sits a
long time; unless there is very good padding about the body.
This should be straightened or strengthened by manipulations,
osteopathically.
(Q) What is blocking or hindering me from gaining the
understanding that would heal me, and how can I overcome it,
that I may rid my body and consciousness of all that would
hinder me from glorifying God by serving my fellow man?
(A) Serving the fellow man is the only manner any soul, any
body, may glorify the Creator.
What is blocking? Only self may answer!
(Q) Please give me the form and thought for meditation that
would aid me most.
(A) FATHER, GOD! LET MY MIND, MY BODY, MY BEING, BE AT-ONE
WITH THEE! THAT I, IN BODY, IN MIND, in THOUGHT, MAY DO AND
BE THAT THOU WOULD HAVE ME BE! NOT MY WILL, NOT MY PURPOSE,
NOT MY DESIRE, BUT THINE, O LORD, BE DONE IN ME, THROUGH ME -
NOW!
Become conscious of that flowing in and through thee - in all
of thy words, thy acts, thy purposes.
We are through.

REPORTS
9/14/38 She wrote: "Those three months at VB were priceless.
Am living over them in memory every day. The Congress as a
whole, the people who attended it, you and your family, the
beach and those whom I met, ALL seemed to have a special
message for me. It seemed that not only were my eyes open,
but that every cell in my body and consciousness were open
and receptive to so many good things.
"I enjoyed my two weeks with Mother and Father [...], and
they seemed so happy to have me. [

five days, and then we came on to D.C. It is nice to be
back, too.
"Mr. Cayce, it would have done you good to have seen the
expression on [
853]'s and Mother's and [

as others) when they saw me. They were amazed at my
improvement."
1/07/39 She wrote: "I am still improving. You would hardly
know me. I believe you know how grateful I am."
5/29/39 "I am loads better."
9/22/39 She wrote: "I had the best and the happiest summer I

am... Over and over again everybody here is saying they are
so glad to see me well again. It is interesting. They say I
don't even look like the same person."
7/08/40: "As I am so so much better in every way, I decided
to stay, home this summer and not make an extra financial
strain on [

2/17/41 She wrote: "Am enclosing $1 for a bottle of Ipsab,
as I don't know where to order it. I need it badly. I had a
tooth extracted two weeks ago, as it was abscessed, and the
dentist gave a hypo. in that nerve in the back of my jaw, and
I have never suffered such pain. I can't touch my teeth
together on that side. It has felt as though an iron weight
were hanging on my jaw. He would never have done it had I
known what he was going to do. It seems that I pay the price
for everything I let a doctor do, if it is anything that
FAITH would have cured.
"Am certainly trying to have more faith, and to use it."
3/18/41 She wrote: "Have been quite sick. Have laryngitis.
That abscessing tooth seemed to lower my vitality."
6/18/41 "I have improved wonderfully during the past week,
but before that I have had quite a time. Having those two
abscessing teeth seemed to do so much to me."
8/15/41 She obtained Ck. Physical
