This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, in Pinewood on Lake Drive, Va. Beach, Va., this 24th day of March, 1932, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [275], Active A Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. EC: We have the body here, [275] - this we have had before. In many respects we find conditions, physical and mental, are gradually on the improve. That these have been, and are, slow, is to be rather expected; for - as in health, as in overcoming of any condition, either physical or spiritual - these are a GRADUAL growth in the knowledge and the understanding of the relationships as exist between physical, mental and spiritual, as related to a physical organized body.
2. We will find that that as has been, and as is being accomplished in the body, will be WELL, will much of that be kept in the manner as has oft been outlined.
3. We will find that with the spiritual truths as are being understood and awakened within the body itself, by the application of those forces in the body-to-body may bring about a greater awakening in the present; that is, the magnetic forces of a virile body for the body itself, putting in these manners - and we would give, the BEST to accomplish this for the body would be the mother!
4. The right hand upon the lower dorsal area, with the left hand over the afflicted area, or the hip - where there is being the concentrated effort of the body - the physical body - to make those connections and relations in such a way and manner as to bring about the normal reactions in the nerve and muscular forces, as well as bone structure itself.
5. We would continue occasionally with the ash, with the electrical reactions for same - the ultra violet ray, for this loosens the oxygen in the system in such a manner as to create more of that ossification in system necessary for bone structure.
6. Once a week, or twice a month, we would have a general massage osteopathically given - these, with those things as has been given as the diet, to make an even balance in the system, will bring about the more active and the faster recuperations for the body.
7. The ash we would take at least once a week, or oftener when felt necessary.
8. If not comfortable, we would not irritate either the heel or that of the hip by the wearing or the use of the pad, but eventually this may be (tried occasionally) - eventually this will be found to be of material aid in locomotion.

10. (Q) How often should mother give treatments? [Magnetic treatments]
    (A) Would be well that this be given once each day, and preferably - at that period when concentrated effort by others is directing the activity of the psychic forces within individuals, through meditation or prayer.
11. (Q) Please give a prayer to be spoken during this time.
    (A) May there be created in this body that virility, through the activity of the spiritual and physical forces in the body, that will create a better coordination in the material physical body, through that promise as has been made in Him - the Saviour - the Master - Jesus.

1. 12/08/31 She obtained Ck. Physical 275-24 giving further treatment for erosion of head of femur, which condition became apparent in Feb. 1925.

The past winter's tr. was not very satisfactory to me, partly due, I feel, to insufficient tr., for reasons not clear to me for I think in all of the rdgs. it stated once a week or oftener if needed. I am greatly interested in the case, and seeing so much progress in the first year's tr. I had hoped for great results. I feel at liberty to write you this now, as they are away from the city and it is conclusive it is not personal gain on my part, but in the future I hope to be allowed to make them see."
5. 7/17/32 Mother [255]'s ltr.: "I am very anxious for [275]'s rdg. She has been having quite some pain. We know it must be constructive."
