This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 12th day of April, 1933, in accordance with request made by the mother, Mrs. [255], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [275], ... Ave., ..., N.Y., who seeks information, advice and counsel, as to her physical, mental and spiritual welfare. You will answer the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [275]; this we have had before. Also those conditions physical, material, that present themselves at this time.
3. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Will it be beneficial to me to have healing treatments from Johannes Greber, 991 Lafayette Ave., Brooklyn, in conjunction with treatments now being given by Mother?
   (A) Yes, these would be beneficial to the body; provided these do not become too severe or often.
   We would, however, continue those treatments by the mother, for these - with the associations - should become stronger and more effective.
5. (Q) How often should I have the treatments from Johannes Greber?
   (A) From one to three times each week.
6. (Q) Do the revelations to Johannes Greber, through his medium in Germany, and contained in his book "Communications with the Spirit World" all contain the truth?
   (A) In so far as the individual concerned, true.
   That which is truth is that which makes for an unveiling, or the making aware in the experience of any soul its relationship with Spirit or Creative Force.
   Hence to say that any thing, or any theory, or any experience, is of or through an individual the whole truth to every soul would be carrying such too far. While there is always that position that is good, better, best, or bad, worse and worst. In this association, then, as there is the association and awakening of those abilities that may be aroused in each soul, as to its awareness of the mental being becoming acquainted and aware with the universal force - this is truth.
7. (Q) Should I continue taking Atomidine?
   (A) It would be well that this be continued, though the quantity may again be reduced.
   For, as we have given, elements carry their creative factor to the various portions of system that work together for the developing of certain influences through the respective activities of the organs or glands, in creating the desired composition of elements, or force, or activity, within a system.
   In the conditions here in this body, these act (the elements of Atomidine) in the capacity of not only aiding the impulse of the glands in cleansing, but in creating the proper elements for the resuscitation of structural forces in the system.
8. (Q) Would it be just as beneficial to me to substitute Del Monte's tomato juice in place of my daily spinach juice?
   (A) It might be well for an alternation of same. But the elements that are in spinach juice and tomato juice are not of the same basic composition, when it is relating to those specific forces in the form of the active principles for the system. But the numbers of the active forces of the influences in each of the properties might be well to be altered; for these are necessary forces in the system - those as A, B, C, D, of those principles or basic influences in varied foods. And their value is as to the number of units of each in the vitamins as produced.
9. (Q) Is there some other juice, other than tomato, I can alter with the spinach juice that would be beneficial?
   (A) As given, tomato juice (especially that preserved without a preservative, for it is made from the ripe tomatos) is better balanced in the necessary vitamin force than most other elements of this character. So, as we find, this would be the better to alter with same - see?
10. (Q) Is my tooth completely healed, or should I continue Ipsab?
    (A) It will be more beneficial to continue to use Ipsab; while at the present (unless some other influence arises, either from outside or internal forces) there is little danger of the tooth, under existent conditions, giving further trouble. But the active principles of Ipsab are constructive, especially, to the structural and circulatory activity of gums. For, as may be said of this compound, there are those principles and elements that are especially adapted to the aiding of circulation and destruction of bacilli that forms or is an accumulation in the form of that which gathers on and in this portion of the body (the mouth, the gums and the teeth).
    Hence, this is a universally beneficial property or compound for the teeth and gums. And the combination is such as to offer particular benefits for any condition where there is the tendency towards irritation in this portion of body.
11. (Q) Is there anything that can be done to stop cracking of jaw?
    (A) This is a condition that is produced by the activity of the lymph circulation, and under the existent conditions is the outcome of that being attempted to be produced in the system. It is a natural consequence. It is not of such a nature to be objectionable, though it becomes at times to the body rather troublesome. But as conditions are balanced, this will gradually disappear.
    We wouldn't attempt, then, to use anything in this particular direction - without being harmful to that being attempted to be created or produced, or the impulses of the system altered!
12. (Q) Is Syrup of Squill good for anyone to help clear a head cold?
    (A) Depends upon what is the cause of such a cold. And ordinarily, as in reference to this particular body, would be well. But not for all grown or matured bodies; for Syrup of Squill acts with, especially, the developing influences in a growing body.
    But under conditions where there is being created a force within the body, or elements within the body that are structural building (as with this particular body), half to a teaspoonful would be beneficial in conditions where cold or indigestion disturbs the body.
13. (Q) How often should my hair be washed?
    (A) When it's needed!
14. (Q) What is the best way to keep blonde hair blonde?
    (A) If the developments of a body are natural conditions, that this should grow to be of a different color - by the forces in system that make for pigments that change the color, it is going against natural conditions to attempt to change or alter same!
    But, if the products whose basic forces are tar or pine elements are used for the cleansing, bi-carbonate of soda in the rinsing water will make for those influences that will keep nearer to uniformity in the shading of hair.
15. (Q) How much soda should be used, or what should be the proportion?
    (A) Heaping teaspoonful to two gallons of water; the rinsing water, to be sure. But, to be sure, it must be thoroughly worked into the scalp and roots of hair, as well as the outer portion, or it'll streak!
16. (Q) Is the "Genuine Black and White Beauty Products" made in Chicago -
    (A) (Interrupting) Are those that have been referred to as the better products, or the purer products, in their use for the protection or care of skin, complexion, and the like.
17. (Q) What is the meaning of my aura, blue to purple? [See 275-11 Reports.]
    (A) As the color or tone indicates, the blue in purity and the purple towards spirituality.
18. (Q) What are the best colors for me to wear?
    (A) Blue, and those tones or shades that go toward the deep or royal purple, and the modes that are in between. Not decided figures or stripes are well for body.
19. (Q) What colors should surround me?
    (A) Those of gold and blue are healing colors, as is purple, for the body.
20. (Q) What precious stone sends out the most healing vibrations for my body?
    (A) Those of the pearl and of the bloodstone.
21. (Q) What key in music is best suited to me?
    (A) This may be easily determined by the body, for it will be found to change as does the development toward the varied moods of the body. When chords are struck, there is the feeling of harmony or of grating or inharmonious vibrations. And these may be found by striking same, preferably by someone else in the presence of the body.
22. (Q) Give pieces, and composer of same, for the harp, that would have the most elevating and healing influence on my body.
    (A) These had best be developed with the various moods and the temperament of the body, under the varied experiences.
    For, while these go into the activities of the awakening of physical and spiritual sentiment, spiritual and physical moods or temperaments - as is found - tend towards those that are of the not wholly pastoral, yet that are the activities of growth in temperament, mood and the like. And these that display or show or express such, are those that the body inclines to. These, naturally, will develop as practice makes for the creating and developing of the varied temperament, or tempo, of the body.
23. (Q) Is it possible to give name of my guiding spirit?
    (A) Each and every soul, as we have given, has that guardian influence that is ever before the throne.
    These should be the more often, for spiritual development, that of self's INNER self.
24. (Q) Please explain the astrological influences that seem to be causing general mental and physical unrest.
    (A) These periods, when there is the changing from the EXTREMES of the astrological influence in the body, are under the general world cycle that brings EXTREMES.
    Hence every soul that comes under the OPPOSITE influence, or to the other end of the tone, is passing - especially - through periods of unrest.

1. 4/28/33 Mother [255]'s ltr.: "Thanks very much for the rdg. as regards healing tr. of Mr. Greber for [275]. She has had two and they seem to create a great deal of warmth in her. The first one we had at Mr. Greber's house, but the last one was just before we had [healing] services here. The rdg. mentioned the associations as being good, so I felt that would be the right way to develop us. To our great surprise, as we went into the silence, [275] started writing, too indistinct to read. But the next day, while we were praying for [412], she again felt impelled to write and receive most beautiful, helpful, spiritual messages for him. I feel God is helping us on, most wonderfully, in our development. Mr. [378] seems to need a message so very much. [452] and [488] do not feel they should come to the meetings, so I am leaving all in God's hands."
