This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 17th day of March, 1925, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [288].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Linden Shroyer, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Born January 30, 1905, Monday morning, between 1:00 and 3:00 o'clock, near Centreville, Alabama.

TEXT

1. LS: You will give the relation of this entity and the Universe, and the Universal Forces, giving the conditions that are as personalities latent and exhibited in the present life. Also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in that life which built or retarded the development for the entity, giving the abilities of the present entity and to that which it may attain and how.
2. EC: Yes, we have the entity here, and those relations with the Universe, and the Universal Forces, and as have to do with the abilities, the urges, the intent, in the life in the present earth's plane. These we find we have had in part before.
3. In this, as we see through these influences, the present entity took its position in the earth's plane from that of Venus, with Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn's forces entering little, but with Mars and Neptune's.
4. In the urges then as are set, for we find this one having passed through many spheres, then having many urges that to self and others become contradictory in themselves, yet the developing of the entity in the present earth's plane shows the realms through which the plane of the earthly existence has passed, for there are, and will be, many of the changes in the earth's condition pass through the life and lives of this entity. [See clarification in 288-27, Par. 13-A.]
5. Then, we find one with these personalities and these urges shown through the individual in the present earth's plane:
6. One with that of the influence in Jupiter's forces, with the Venus love force, brings contradiction in self, as we shall see through the appearances and developments in earth's plane.
7. One that gives much of self to the enlightenment and help of others, yet not receiving that of the purpose as is set. That is, misunderstood in the manner of presentation. One having the urge and ability to grasp, yet slow in giving the expression of same. Again this will be seen from conditions existent through earth's influence.
8. One that will bring to self in the present earth's plane much of this world's goods, provided that the influence of the Jupiter forces are kept in the manner that should be. In this we will find necessary of development. [See 288-27, Par. 14-A.]
9. One we find who is quick to anger, and retaining much grudge against many. One who is in that manner of scoffer at conditions that relate to self. [See 288-27, Par. 15-A.] These urge, we will see, the urge produced in the earth's plane, for the entity has then the earthly urge as is set, yet with the Venus forces, the Uranian and Neptune forces, may bring to self and others much in the present plane, and will bring the greater forces through the love of the higher elements as come through Jupiter's influence, so the entity should lend self more to ennobling principle and practise, and be set in that force through which all may enter in. That is, through that faith and hope as is set in Him, who became the ensample and mediator for the way through the earthly woes and forces.
10. In the appearances, then, we find as in these:

In the one before this in the Court of Louis the 15th, when the ruler then young in years, and while the rule was under that of the one in charge, the entity then in the household of Louis the 15th, coming from that of the 14th [See 288-27, Par. 16-A--18-A], and the entity then finds that of the development only in the end of the years, for with that which entered in the life through the younger years brought desolation, tears, much weeping, much trouble, until the entity finds itself in the cloister to which it becomes a part, leaving the earth's plane then [for the convent] in the early years of life; that is, in the twenty-one and two. [See 288-5 indicating she died in the convent at the age of thirty.]
12. In the development in that plane, or period, we find that in the last days when entity became reconciled to the conditions existing between self and the taking of offspring [294] [See 1523-13, Par. 23-A, 24-A on 6/02/41 saying that [1523] had charge of the child [294] until his death.], and the entity then in that of royalty finds its present urge of that to sneer, or hold grudge against those who are not endowed with understanding in self. Then this to be overcome in present plane. The personality as exhibited then is given in the urge, and a condition to be met and overcome in the present earth's plane.
13. In the one before this we find in the household again of royalty, in the Persian Court, and a companion to the King's adopted daughter [369], and in the development found the greater in the days when in company with one [294] in the plains country. Though suffering hardships, they learned the lessons of the indwelling of spiritual forces from within, and the urge in the present from this we find in the seeking after knowledge of every nature.
14. In the one before this we find in the Egyptian forces, when the laws were being given to the people among the second ruler, and the entity then was the answer to the call of that force as developed in self [See 288-29, Par. 12-A clarification], and remaining only in earth's plane a very short while. [See 341-9, Par. 16-A on 6/02/25 giving further details, also 341-10, Par. 20-A--22-A.]
15. In the one before this we find in the Poseidian rule [Atlantis] when the greater forces were being given to the then civilized forces, and the entity then finding the greater force, and giving the laws to the individuals of that time.
16. As in the one succeeding this [Egypt] the entity gains the urge to be the lead in the knowledge of spiritual forces in self. [See 288-29, Par. 13-A clarification.]
17. Then, to use these and apply all in the present plane, seek those things that partake of the spiritual forces, and gain the spiritual understanding in a spiritual manner. Seeking those of the physical forces through the physical and material manner and gaining the knowledge of same in that force. Then combining the two for the development in the present plane, knowing that all must be overcome, would anyone enter in, for as given, many, many, changes will come in the earth's plane with the entity dwelling therein.
18. (Q) Will you please give us the names of the personalities?
    (A) We have given the personalities. The names of individuals as were in the earth's plane, in the first (Poseida) that of Aczine [?]. In the next in Egypt that of Iso. In the plane or Arabian and Persian that of Ilya. In that of Louis 15th Gracia. In the present [288].
