This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce in Virginia Beach, Va., this 27th day of April, 1926, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [288].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

Time and Place: 10:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.

TEXT

  1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [288], present in this room, and the dream this body had on the date which I will give you. You will give the interpretation and lesson to be gained from same, as I read same to you, and you will answer the questions which I ask you regarding same.
  2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, here, [288]. This we have had before.
  3. The dreams are as that way and manner as has been given that such visions, such dreams, are presented to individual consciousness for the lessons as may be gained from same, either from the concept of the conscious mind, gaining through the subconscious the interpretation of those conditions as are being enacted before the life, or those on which the entity has given thought in the physical plane to the subconscious for its interpretation, either from the subconscious or from the superconscious forces of the entity itself. Ready for dream.
  4. (Q) Dream had the morning of April 27, 1926, regarding a dog and strange fire.
    (A) In this there is presented to the entity, through this, that of an animal, that to the body-conscious mind presents the condition of both faithfulness and unfaithfulness to a trust as may be placed in an individual; or as is given to self, and as an individual acted upon.
    The warning - as is seen, how that the turning of same, or the rending of those conditions, either in animal or in the physical body, rends and burns, as it were, the individuals in their entirety. Then the warning is as to self: Let not that trust that has been put in the entity turn to that way and manner of rending or burning, or reducing self in its physical, mental and spiritual way, to a non-entity. Be warned then.
