This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Va. Beach, Va., this 1st day of March, 1933, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [288], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mildred Davis and L. B. Cayce.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
2. As we find, there are many changes in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here. These, as we find, are not altogether good.
3. Those tendencies for congestion and cold in the bronchi and throat, and the tendency for the hepatic eliminations to be below the normal, so that the circulation has become such as to be slowed up through the lungs, makes for a tendency for congestion there of a nature that is not good.
4. If there will be taken those properties for the system that may be given here, and sufficient of those vibrations as to relax those centers from which the throat, the upper lungs, the condition in throat receive their impulse, these would soon disappear.
5. Keep the feet dry. Keep out of night air. Keep the general care of the system, that the body is kept warm - especially the feet; that the diet is such as to build for more blood and better resistance.
6. Take a course of those forces that will act upon the liver and the organs of elimination; not so much as to produce the exciting of the hypogastric forces of the system, so as to produce drains upon the system but as to make for the stimulation of the flow of the bile to cleanse the system as related to the blood stream.
7. This would be as a dose, in each capsule:

   Podophyllum..................1/4 grain,
Cascara Sagrada..............1/2 grain,
Senna........................1/4 grain.

   Sufficient of any compound to hold these in the capsule, or in position for activity, see? which may be either bread crumbs or any powder that works with same.
8. At least three of such capsules we would take, allowing one day between each capsule, see? That is, as one taken today - Wednesday, the next would be taken Friday, see?
9. We would also have those stimulations by the electrically driven vibration over the upper portion of the dorsal and all of the cervical area, at least every evening.
10. We would prepare as an expectorant, this:
11. To a solution made with 1 ounce of honey in 2 ounces of water (dissolved in same as a syrup), add 2 ounces of Pinex. The dose of this would be half to a teaspoonful when necessary to reduce the irritation in the throat. Don't take too much of it, but take sufficient to reduce the irritation and the tendency for cough or for nausea.
12. Do that. Ready for questions.
