TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions she has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, there is as much in the general mental attitude of the body as in the physical disturbances; which work together to make for this pressure being produced that causes the activities of the system to produce a regurgitation throughout the lymph and the supply of activity through the alimentary canal.
4. A high enema, colon irrigation, would be MOST advisable. Of course, plenty of eliminations, - but do not OVERDO same.
5. But keep the body alkalized with juices of fruits and such; and we should find that, with the change of attitudes to constructive forces - not resentments, nor the condemning in any manner - conditions will be much improved.
6. Otherwise, we may bring either to the appendicial or the throat area, or both, very destructive forces.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) Should anything further be done to eliminate present cold? What produces these poisons?
   (A) As has been indicated; the colonic and the eliminations set up; KEEPING the alkalinity, - though don't even overdo this, see?
Instead of snuffing, BLOW! Instead of resentments, LOVE!
9. We are through with this Reading.

BACKGROUND

1. 9/20/37 She obtained Ck. Physical 288-43 for severe cold.
2. 2/06/39 She requested Ck. Physical, saying she had not been able to sleep lying down last night due to terribly stopped up nose; had to stay propped up in a sitting position all night.

REPORTS

1. 2/08/39 Wed. a.m. She wrote: "You are exactly right! Last Friday night, the 3rd, I got upset over family matters. The next morning I began to get the sniffles. On Sunday I had to go to bed, completely exhausted, head heavy as lead, etc.
"This morning I am still blowing yellow phlegm out of my nose from way back in head somewhere, but feel better generally. I am trying to be optimistic and not to say or think a single negative or pessimistic thing."
2. 2/24/39 She wrote: "I plan to go Monday evening to get my voice lesson from Mr. Edgar J. Parry. I've been feeling terrible for three weeks; first the deep cold, then great worry over illness in the family, and that 'touch of mental attitude' so that I didn't feel like singing. I suppose that's when you should try the hardest. But if Mr. Parry will give me another chance, I'll try again."
3. 2/26/40 She obtained her next Ck. Physical, 288-46, for hemorrhoids, lumbago, swelling of lower limbs, etc., after effects of "flu".
