This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 7th day of October, 1925, in accordance with request made by Edgar Cayce himself.

1. EC: Yes, we have the body and the enquiring mind of this body.
2. Now, we find the body and the mind of the body set in that place wherein has been given that the forces would direct same as to the manner in which there would be given to the entity (body), physically, that wherewith to begin, to establish, perpetuate, the work that is capable of being done, accomplished, through this entity.
3. In the dreams, then, that come to the entity, there may be seen that wherein the beginnings may be made for same. Then study each well, and keep in that directing way wherein the elements of the subconscious, the cosmic, the spiritual forces, may direct in that manner wherein that may be carried forward, that as has been given for the entity.
4. Ready for dream.
5. (Q) Early morning hours of 10/06/25. Dream had regarding trip on train and getting left, and dreaming of interpretation of same. You will recall all of this dream and interpret same and give the lesson to be gained.
   (A) Now, in this first, we find there are just three hundred years to the day, hour, in which time, space, as known in the earth's plane, passed since the entity landed in this place, see? and the dream as is shown here is as that of the entity associated with those conditions surrounding same at present, see? going into the interior as was seen at that period, see? [1625? See 294-8 in re early America sojourn. Also 5717-5 in re being Jamestown settler.]
   In this then on train, as the way, manner, in which those stocks as represented by that train, may be made much of the world's goods at the present time, for the work, for the individual, several lines missing though unable to accompany same at that time, see? the coming to the hotel or tavern, with the possibility of exchange being made in the baggage, the seeing of that as apparently taking, see, another one, shining and new, when the ones that belong to the entity were old and worn, see? gives then that to the entity, see, as this interpretation: Take not of that which is new until weighed well with that which has been lived and is true, see? While these forces give the truth, the life, the light, this [information] also may be used only as the developments of same, with the individual, are carried to that point, see? [L & N Ry.    The understanding that is finally shown, gives then reliance that must be put in the work as its own self, see? rather than depending upon the interpretation of same by the mental, physical, mind, see?
   That is, the best interpretation of God is God, the best interpretation of truth is truth, by the light of that accomplished in same, see? The interpretation as seen, that comes to the body in same, then, is that of the stocks and of the buying and selling of same.
   Then as this: L & N declining fast, see? When the 99, when the 109 is reached (for both will be seen in the exchange in market as is coming to the changes, see? for with the submerging of the workings of same), this will happen. Then the greater rise, as has been given, will come. Sell, then buy, see?
