(Q) Thursday Morning,
4/15/26. "Dream regarding fixing
over an old house, about a watermelon eating a pig, etc."
(A) This, as we see, is as an emblematical condition to the
entity, and shows how the entity should study out those
conditions.
As seen in the vision or dream, from the position
consciously, THESE could not be true. Yet there is
preparation of the entity to build on same.
There is further presented that the entity is preparing to
make firm foundation, or feeling that it is so, over that
which is rotten, and which is eventually shown even to
contain dead men's bones.
There is further shown that instead of the hog attempting to
eat the melon, which would be normal, the melon in turn
eats the hog, or pig. This shows the unreasonableness of
conditions being presented. And any attempt to build upon
same comes to that end that is seen in the sinking of floor
over which there had been the contemplated floor for dining
room.
Then, the entity should take stock in self, and know that
there may be those conditions that enter into the life, from
certain elements and from certain conditions, which may NOT
be stable, and which may not be builded upon in a way and
manner that will bring the very best to each.

REPORTS
5/23/26 See EC's letter under
599-1, Par. R6 indicating his
dream a few nights ago in which Mr. [
599]'s wife gave EC
counsel and advice.
7/13/26 EC obtained Ck. Physical rdg.
294-73.
7/23/26 He obtained dream rdg.
294-74.
2/23/51 GD's note to Mr. Tom C. Clark who had asked if there
was more to rdg. 294-72, since the suggestion had been given
for the interpretation of DREAMS and only one dream had been
interpreted; also EC had not said "We are through" at the
end:
Rdg. 294-72 is complete - no more to it. I find that another
[
137-73] dream reading was given just preceding it, for
someone else. Sometimes two or three people had dreams
interpreted during the same reading, in which case GC would
say something like this: "You will have before you the
individuals as I name them to you. As I name them, you will
give an interpretation of the dreams as I read them to you,
etc., etc., etc..."
It may be that there was some physical reaction which caused
EC to stop the reading at the end of interpreting the one
dream, without saying, "We are through." However, we never
knew just how many dreams he would interpret - consequently
we always said "dreams" in the suggestion - that is, if there
was more than one to be interpreted. Sometimes only one
would be interpreted, sometimes all of them. It was rare
for the reading to be ended without saying "We are through;"
however, it did sometimes happen. Sometimes EC would start
to wake up - without the suggestion being given. This we
could tell by his breathing - and it may have happened in
this particular instance. Too bad I didn't make all such
notations, but at the same time I didn't understand that
the knowledge would one day be invaluable.
