The lower portion of the intestinal system should be kept,
then, nearer in the state of non-acidity, or alkaline. Keep
those food values, those medicinal properties, that tend to
produce for the system a nearer equalized condition in this
respect. Foods entering should be ALKALINE in reaction.
When acted upon by gastric juices they become acid, but
should be alkaline reaction in the lower digestion.
Hence contracting muscular forces in manipulation in cardiac
or upper region. RELAX those in the pyloric or lower end of
the digestive system, and give that as will nearer and nearer
relax the system sufficient to relieve the lesion. Do that.
Ready for questions.
(Q) Just what foods should the body eat?
(A) Just those as outlined.
(Q) How often should he have the manipulations?
(A) Each day until those conditions have been removed from
the system that PRODUCE THE CONDITION!
(Q) Just what brought about or caused the spell the body has
just had with the stomach, in the last few weeks?
(A) That of the system's contraction in the reaction
produced from foods that brought excess of acid in the
reaction, and causing re-gurgitation in the body.
(Q) Should the body eat any meat?
(A) Very rarely, until the system is relieved from the
present condition.
(Q) What vegetables will be best?
(A) Those conditions for the system AS HAS BEEN given! Do
that!
(Q) Should he continue to take the Beef, Iron, and Wine?
[Wyeth's?]
(A) Well that this be taken at least once each day. Also
those properties that will assist in keeping a normal
equilibrium for the system in acid and alkaline reaction.
The action is acid as at present, see?
(Q) Is the body taking any medicinal properties that it
should not?
(A) Should take MORE of some of those it's been taking!
(Q) Should take more of Milk of Magnesia?
(A) Take more of Milk of Magnesia.
(Q) How often?
(A) At least three times each day.
(Q) What size dose?
(A) Tablespoonful each dose, or more when necessary.
(Q) Any further advice the body should have regarding the
physical?
(A) Keep the physical fit, will be better for the body in
EVERY manner.
(Q) Should the body have any regular stimulant?
(A) Very good occasionally.
(Q) Is the body taking sufficient exercise, or too much?
(A) Isn't hurting itself in exercise!
(Q) Does it need more in any way?
(A) When it's more physically fit, be very well.
(Q) Should the body continue the sweats or the light baths?
(A) Very well that the LIGHT baths be taken at least two
or three times each week. The Sweats we would discontinue -
but LIGHTS we would continue. [Dry cabinet baths but not
fume baths?]
(Q) Is it good or harmful for the body to go in bathing in
the ocean?
(A) When the blood is thicker, would be well.
(Q) Any further advice or counsel for this body?
(A) Keep the physical nearer fit will be better.
That is all the questions.
We are through for the present.
