This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 105th St., Va. Beach, Va., this 27th day of July, 1931, immediately following a Life Rdg. 2724-1, according to regular suggestion given by Mrs. Cayce periodically for EC's welfare.

TEXT

1. EC: Take those eliminants to eliminate poisons from the system.
2. (Q) May this be done by suggestion?
   (A) If it could we would have given it! Take things!
3. (Q) What should be taken?
   (A) That which will produce the overactivity of the forces through the ELIMINATING channels - active both through the kidneys and alimentary canal. [See 294-126, Par. B2.]

BACKGROUND

1. 6/01/31 He obtained Ck. Physical rdg. 294-125 for cholecystitis.
2. 7/27/31 He volunteered a rdg., background for which was explained in letter 7/31/31 to Mrs. [2457]: "For the last week I have been crippled - did a very foolish thing - went fishing in my bare feet and the sun blistered them, or scalded them, or burned them - so I've been worse than someone with gout. Just beginning to be able to get about again." [GD's note: I remember EC's predicament on account of his blistered feet. He could not walk on them for a week or more; had to go up and down stairs on his hands and knees.]
