TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. In the physical forces we find there are disorders that arise from the gastric forces, causing disorders through the overtaxing of the system with elements in the physical manner that produce disruption in the digestive order of the system. Also that the system has been taxed through the attempts to force THROUGH those activities when disorder or disruption existed in the physical forces of the body, which function under stress and strain in such conditions.
2. There is, as we find, the need of more temperance in the foods that may be taken, that there are not those conditions which upset the system so much, and that the system should not be so taxed when there are such conditions existent in the active forces of the mental or the psychic forces of the body.
3. In correcting these, there should be more of the alkalin nature in the food values. There should be less of those of such heavy protein and hydrocarbonates for the system, and there should be more ACTIVITY of the body-physical as for the exercises of the physical body - and we will keep a more even balance for the body. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) What caused the ill effect on the physical body from the reading on World Conditions the other day? [2/08/32 World Affairs rdg. 3976-10]
   (A) As we find, as has been given, a strain - or an attempt of that to produce the activities of the psychic forces THROUGH a disorder or disruption in physical! As may be example of attempting to create a fire with wet material, or attempting to use a small amount of water over a large quantity of fire; or, in more EXACT ELEMENTAL conditions, in attempting to adjust itself, those of the mental forces of an active body in the elements of Creative Forces WITH those of the active forces making for BUILDING forces in a MATERIAL body! This perfectly understood would make, or show how effects or changes come about in a body. This, then, should not be that there - as has been given - are the attempts to subjugate the conscious forces when there is the attempt in the system physical to ADJUST itself to disorders in the PHYSICAl body see?
5. (Q) Is there any bad effect from this type of reading ordinarily?
   (A) That depends upon the ATTITUDES of those seeking, or all CHANNELS of that through which such may come. Would be antagonistic to the ELEMENTALS as produce for this body's activities, to be sure - but aided or abetted, or hindered, by those activities that go to make up the whole of the CONTINUITY of ACTION through this particular type or phase of activities.
6. (Q) In what direction should the head lie when giving that type of reading?

7. (Q) The head towards the East?
   (A) Facing the East.
8. (Q) What effect do those present in the room during a read- ing have upon his physical body - Edgar Cayce?
   (A) Those that carry that thought of aiding or abetting, or of STIMULATING the activities, of course, aid in PRODUCING that environ or that attunement for activities. While those of the opposite effect among individuals or peoples create INHARMONY, to be sure.
