This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Zentgraf, 400 St. Paul's Ave., Stapleton, S.I., N.Y., this 1st day of February, 1934, in accordance with request made by Hugh Lynn Cayce, Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. EC: We have the body here. As we find, there are some improvements in the general physical forces of the body. While those activities of the cold and the congestion, that have disturbed the lung and the active forces there, these have been - through those applications - very well checked, there are the indications of the poisons that make for congestion in the shoulders, in the arm, in those portions of the system from non-eliminations.
2. Hence the greater eliminations through the system, though weakening the physical forces of the body in the present, if there is sufficient stimuli kept to make for continuity towards active forces of the gastric forces in the system, these should soon disappear.
3. We would, then, with the properties that have been had, take first the Alcaroid with the Caroid Bile Salts tablets, to increase and maintain the better eliminations in the present.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) Should the massage and lights be continued; if so, how often?
   (A) There should be a general deep massage and the corrections of those subluxations [osteopathically] in the dorsal area. The lights are helpful and should be continued, if the eliminations are set up - but these poisons should be carried out of the system.
6. (Q) What should be the dosage for the bile salts and other tablets?
   (A) The Alcaroid is powder. This should be preferably taken two teaspoonsful not at the same time but during one day. But do not have these in system when there are activities of the subjugation of the mental forces, or the active forces through a physical body, see? The body should rest, then, from the active forces in the state that exists in the present, while these are being taken into the system.
7. (Q) Would it be well for the body to work tomorrow?
   (A) If the eliminations have been completed, why shouldn't it?
8. (Q) Would it be well for the body to go out of the house tonight?
   (A) If the eliminations have been begun, and there's no temperature - be very well.
9. (Q) Should this body continue giving psychic readings in trance state, or should the body seek to develop to do this consciously; and if so, how should the body go about it?
   (A) This, as we find, as has been given, would entail a great deal of an explanation as to what has been the development of the body, as to why or how the body is able in the present to subjugate the consciousness that the soul forces - that have been developed through those experiences where the mental and physical body were used for the beneficent effects for individuals, for groups - may be used for helping others, but now - as has been found through the activities without - these must be subjugated. Until there is regeneration within the activities of the body, or until there has been the purification through the coming into the influences in the activities of the earth those forces that may bring to the body and those associated or surrounded, or to the earth, those that may purify much - won't get much unless he is subjugated!
10. (Q) How can the apparent sensitiveness to physical disorders be helped?
    (A) They must be met.
11. (Q) How can those about the body be of more assistance?
    (A) Being of one mind and of one purpose and one aim.
12. (Q) Are all the suggestions which are given to the body before and after the readings, the best for the physical and mental forces of the body?
    (A) When regularly given as has been outlined, and in the proper places, they are correct - for they were given through these same sources and channels, but do not attempt to make for such changes as to meet an emergency unless you know what the emergency is! You wouldn't borrow a butcher knife to shave with!
