1. MD: You will have before you the body and soul mind of EC, [295] and [288], present in this room. You will give what should be the soul development of each one of these in this experience, and answer the questions that may be asked:
2. EC: (Repeating, "soul development in their present associations.")
3. Yes, we have the bodies, the soul minds, EC, [295], [288], present in this room.
4. There may not be given what the soul development is, though it may be given as to how, in what way, what manners, these as individual souls - in their contacts one with another - stood for, worked with, or been this or that in their experiences. And then as to what they may as individuals, and as their soul development needs, represent in this particular experience.
5. Hence, as we see, this will be an approach from a somewhat different manner.
6. As each soul has been in manifested form in body in the earth, there have been those conditions that are called or known as karmic influences in those experiences; or how those souls as individuals used that they knew to be as constructive influences in their experience one with another, and as to whether this was in exaltation of self, self's desires, or in gratifying those influences by that whole association, or to the glory and to the honor of that which might build constructive influences in the experiences of those whom the entities contacted.
7. In the one [EC] we find oft have their associations brought not only the influences wherein the very inception of that ability within the manifested expression of the entity brought the other into being, but through those very acts satisfied, gratified the desires of the body. Then suffering as an offspring [288] of that body brought into the experiences of many that which was the influence to make for separations and for gratifications in the experiences of others. AGAIN their sojourn as the close associates in body and mind brought for a peoples, a nation, a world, those influences that made for the clarifying of much that had been and were as those forces that led to that activity that brought harmony to many. That in the next made for turmoils through gratifications in the body. Yet in the present, then, their experiences must be rather as those that would make for that which will build in the hearts, the souls, the minds, the experiences of all, those things that will purify and make for less and less selfishness - and make for that which is the basis of those conditions that must build in the experience of each those things that put first things first; and that the love of the Father that is manifested in the earth by being just kind and patient and loving to those, though they despitefully use you. In the other, the associations in the activities in the Egyptian and in the Persian make for those things builded in each, that made for the longings in body, mind, soul, for their aspirations that might be builded in those experiences that might make for a manifestation into materiality of those things that would bring to bear that as was even given in Him: "Though ye wander far afield, call upon the Lord while He may be found and He will draw very nigh unto thee; and with His presence bring peace."
8. Then, what is to be the soul development of each in this particular experience?
9. As is seen, not by chance nor by just desire, but that there might be fulfilled in their associations those things that will make for the abilities of each to become as individual and as a group as a unit, as a oneness, that the love that is known in the soul of each may be the better channels of blessings to those who may come in contact with, in association with, those activities in their relationships.
10. How, then, may this be better accomplished in the present, in the environ, in the activity in that which is to be builded in the experience of each?
11. Study each to show self approved unto God, in the light of that which may be had by each in their concerted, cooperative efforts to bring the knowledge of the power of the Holy One in the experience of those that would seek His face. Not as unto self-exaltation, that in the experience of each has brought those things that in their associations in the present make for doubts and fears and desires and disturbances that burn and burn, yet all must be tried so as by fire. And the fires of the flesh in their activity in material associations must be purified in the love even as the Father gave, that all may know that each walk together with the Son, with the Father, with the Giver of all good and perfect gifts. That there may come, through those promises that have been given - that in the body may be found that signifying the purposes in which the activities of the very hearts and souls may bring into the experiences of others, those things that will make for harmony, joy, peace, to those that seek to know His face. For, we shall see Him as He is. He will walk among men. He will be in they midst. Be thou, then, those that will make His paths straight; for narrow is the way yet straight is the gate that leads to that knowledge that may be had in Him.
12. Thus may the souls of EC, [295], [288], came to know the Father of light, the Savior of men, and thus may they walk in the light, each being a comfort, an aid, oft standing in the stead of the other, that they may glorify the Father more. Be oft, then, in prayer, in meditation, in love, in communion of body, of mind, of soul, that the Father may have His way with thee.
13. Be not rebellious because thou art evil-spoken of. Be not unmindful that they spoke evil of thy Lord. Be not ungracious, and not unmerciful, to those that may say and do deceitful, despiteful things in thine efforts - but know that He has promised that if ye will walk in the light He will come and abide with thee and bring to thine remembrance those things that may make for joy in service, in body, in mind, in soul. For, THOU hast been chosen of Him. Fail Him not!

15. (Q) Please elucidate upon the experience I had last month in New Mexico when seeing and talking with my mother, in which she materialized a silver dollar.
    (A) As has been given, either by vision, by prayer, by Urim, by Thummin, by dream, or in the material things, may the vision of those that are in the heart and mind of individuals given through the powers of those in the spirit plane to enter into association, communication, or activity with those that they seek to guide.
    Here we find for the first, that has long been sought between mother and son, that of communication concerning those things that deal with the mysteries of life and of those things that may bring to bear in the experiences of all, and how that there may be used those things of materiality for the representing of the spiritual.
    If the worshipfulness is for the spiritual, that is manifested by those of material, then - as was seen - there may come those things in the experience of the body of the son in this experience that may bring that peace, that joy in living, in experiencing, the blessings of the joys that so represent the manifesting of spiritual things in the experience of the body, the son; for, as was given, there is no passion of life - either mental, physical or spiritual - that will remain alive and burn with the correct, or the fires that make for a consuming influence lest they be fed with the fuels of their nature for their propagation in whatever sphere they may be manifesting. If they are holy in their purpose, their aim, their inception, they are blessed of Him, that said, "What ye ask in my name, believing, ye shall have, that the Father may be glorified in me and I in you in the earth," for ye are called to be those channels of blessings to many.
16. (Q) What should be my soul development in relationship to the work that comes thru me as a channel in this life?
    (A) That there is the necessity for the subjugation of the conscious mind of this entity, this body, that the soul in its development may give that which has been experienced by same - or that may be used by the spirit of truth and light for enlightenment in the various phases and spheres of experiences that may make other souls aware of the promises of the Father to the sons of men in the earth - is for the sincere desire of the soul to FIND expression. Yet in a weak, in an uncomely surrounding of a physical body, that in its last [American] experience and sojourn sought rather the aggrandizement of the desires of the body in its relationships with individuals in their activity. Hence the soul development in the present, through the aid of those that have the desire in body, in mind, in heart, in soul, that they may be a channel of blessing, a prop, an aid for this body in its sojourn in its activity in the earth, that it may succor and aid, that it may give of itself to make for the purifying that soul, that the development may come for those with whom, to whom, those things were in error; for they must be met in every experience. And as the fires of flesh are burned, there may come the regeneration - even in the flesh - even in the bodies, that that fire from the very Throne may be made a light to the world through those things, those aids, those counsels that may be as a prop one for the other, and thus fulfil the law of God in their lives, their associations.
    Thus may the soul develop, thus may it be called blessed, thus may there come to ALL those things that satisfy, that bring contentment in the inner self, making the abilities to smile through tears, to be joyous even in persecution, to be happy in service to their fellow man.
17. (Q) [295]: What should be my soul development in relationship to the work of Edgar Cayce in this life?
    (A) That there is and has been much association, where those things in the experiences have made for influences in the associations and experiences in sojourns, is apparent. Then, that there may be had in self more and more of the knowledge of that influence that awakens the souls of men. In thine own experience, my child, that thou may know the way, the truth, as thou hast seen, as thou hast heard, in Him. Were not His blessings on thee as He purified thee, as He condemned thee not? and now would pour on thee His blessings, that those that walked with Him may walk in the earth, and that those developments then may be: Purge ye thine self, making thine heart and soul one with the purposes of the master. Learn that lesson as He gave, "Love one another." Know that they place, thy purposes, thine development, lie close with those developments of the work, of that as may be made in manifested forms in the earth. Then, though the heavens may fall and the earth pass away, leave not those words that are words of life to thee!
18. (Q) [288]: What should be my soul development in relationship to the work of Edgar Cayce in this life?
    (A) It has been indicated how the associations for the bodies have brought experiences for weal or woe to many. Here we find again those abilities being manifested in the material associations, that there may be made many crooked paths straight, many an undoing of those things that were as turmoils. Be ye patient and possess thine soul in Him. For, as has been given, grow in grace through the knowledge and understanding of the laws of Love that were given to the sons of man by Him, through Him that promised life and light and a home for those that would keep His ways.
