TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [297], and those conditions that disturb the better equilibrium and functioning of the body-physical, the body-mental.
2. Now, as we find, there are those conditions that disturb the better equilibrium and prevent the coordination in the body-physical; and unless there are many changed attitudes of the body-mental, there must gradually continue those detrimental influences as to bring about hopeless conditions so far as the physical betterments are concerned.
3. In the present there is a combination of conditions, or a general and specific condition, wherein there are those forces from within the body that have so separated, so segregated themselves as to produce influences that are builded within themselves, and are the result of the building up of negative forces within the system as to produce that which brings destructive forces to the better coordination, the better activity of the body-physical itself.
4. There are also those conditions from cold and congestion that make an aggravation, and this brings FEAR. With the already negative influences, this makes for destructive influences upon the activities of the glands of the system; also of the tissue itself, and the activity of a tubercle within the system that makes for the resultant effects that are seen in the body.
5. With a changed attitude, with a changed reaction in the system, there may be brought about for the body a condition that will bring sufficient resistance to make for better accumulations of those forces that will produce positive reactions in the system, and bring better reaction. The natural elements that make for a tearing down through the respiratory system, in the form of the tubercle. It is necessary also for the activity of the glands to receive sufficient impetus for the creating of those elements that may act with the hormones of the blood, or through the hemoglobin itself, as to build the necessary forces to produce resuscitations in the body throughout.
6. With the constant element of fear and discouragement, with even these added in the system there would only be prolonged conditions or the creating of new influences or forces as to make greater destructive influence in the body.
7. Then, as we find, these we would prepare to make for the better activities in the system:
8. First, we would use as a gargle that of a weakened solution of Atomidine, for the healing of the muco-membranes of throat, head, nasal passages and the bronchi itself. To half a glass of water add two teaspoonsful of the ordinary strength solution, using as a gargle and spray.
9. When this has been used for three to four days, we would then begin with a compound which would be made in this manner. Put the following ingredients in one dose, and do not make more than three (and these being kept in a cool place). Put in capsule:

   Oil of Eucalyptus.......................1 minim,
Rectified Oil of Turp.................1/2 minim,
Canadian Balsam.......................1/2 minim,
Heroin...............................1/80 grain.

The dose would be only one of these each day. Take three and rest three days.
10. During the three day rest periods take one-eight grain of the animated or carbon ash once each day. Thirty minutes after the ash has been taken, have the ultra violet light. It would be well that the ash be rolled in a small or sufficient quantity of bread that this may be made into a pellet, which is better than taking it in the capsule - see?
11. During the same rest periods, or the days when the ash is taken, have a full or general massage over the whole cerebro-spinal nervous system; or that which may be called the neuropathic massage. Beginning in the central portion of the body (that is, the 9th dorsal), massage towards the lower limbs. Beginning in the 9th dorsal area, massage towards the head, the neck, the arms, to the fingertips.
12. The diet should be much in the form or manner that has been outlined for the body, though WE would add a great deal more of the citrous fruit juices and those foods that carry the bacilli that will be destructive to the refuse forces that are thrown off in the intestinal system, purifying the body, see?
13. It will be well that occasionally, for several weeks, that there be the recurrent use of the Atomidine as an antiseptic solution for the throat, for the intestinal system, even taking small quantities of same for periods of three to five days.
14. When these have been followed for the third to the fourth round of treatments, we would give further instructions for the body.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) How much Atomidine should be taken at a dose?
    (A) When taken internally, other than a spray or gargle, take from six to eight drops twice a day in a WHOLE GLASS of water.
17. (Q) What foods carry that bacilli for the destructive forces?
    (A) That in Yeast, or that in Yogurt, or that in buttermilk - or that is made with the Bulgarian tablets.
18. (Q) What is the name of this specific condition?
    (A) FEAR as created, or bringing about those effects as given of tubercle in the system.
19. (Q) What should be said to body to get full cooperation for treatment?
    (A) There must be created first a confidence in self, and in the creative influences, and the abilities of self to follow those suggestions given.
If this treatment is followed that we have given here, it may be done wherever desired. To be sure, a dry or sandy climate, or any that is where the body can be kept at a REGULAR pressure, either from the latitude or from the general conditions of the atmospheric pressures, would be well for the body's surroundings. Bright and cheery at all times, to be sure - HOPEFULNESS should ever be the suggestions for those that surround the body.
20. We are through for the present.

REPORTS

1. GD's note: No correspondence is in the files in re Mrs. [Miss]? [297]. Apparently Mr. [257] phoned the request direct to EC and there were no questions submitted. [Evidently she was a mental as well as T.B. case.]
2. 4/49 We tried to communicate with her at the address at the time of the reading, but it was no good.
