This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 22nd day of October, 1941, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [303], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mrs. [303] and Mrs. [263].

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [303]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there are changes in the reactions and in the physical forces of the body from that as we have had here before.
4. Many of these are betterments in ways, and in others have produced the lack of reactive elements that should be added to the system in the present.
5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [303] we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. The blood supply indicates the effect of the high vibrations, and these have eliminated some sources of disturbance, yet they have produced - as indicated - a lacking in certain glandular forces that should supply more of the calcium and the digestive fluids in the system.
7. These then added in the present, with the precautions as to activities and diet, - and later, in at least three to four weeks, another course of the lights with the green glass interposed, and then some adjustments along with same, - should balance the system in such a manner as to create more resistance, better assimilation, better digestion and better activities throughout the body.
8. While these other properties are being added in the present, then, we would not take any of those other tonics that have been indicated. [In 303-22?, 303-24, Par. 24-A?, 303-25?]
9. Be mindful that the diet is toward those things that have at times caused some inconvenience, for these will supply - with the digestive fluids indicated here - the manner of assimilation needed for other chemicals in the body, and for keeping a better balance.
10. We would, then, every other day take Calcios; sufficient in quantity to produce an assimilating reaction in the body, - that as may be spread upon a whole wheat wafer as if it were butter - not too thick, not too thin; about a quarter to half an inch on the end of a case knife.
11. Also each day take half a teaspoonful of ACIGEST [for releasing of hydrochloric acid] stirred in a glass of raw milk. Do not attempt to take it in other than raw milk; half a teaspoonful in a glass of milk; this taken at the end of the evening meal, before stirring from the table, or before there are activities other than at the meal, see?
12. Be precautious as to getting feet wet.
13. There needs to be taken these for the present, then. These, with the changes now wrought, should bring release from those disturbances in the digestive forces, - headaches, pains at times through the limbs and some parts of the body.
14. It would be well occasionally, - say at least once a week, when ready to retire, - to massage the body thoroughly along the spine with Peanut Oil. Include the limbs, along the sciatic nerve, and particularly the feet and soles of feet.
15. After this is massaged into the feet, it would be well to toast them - as it were - by a heat, or an electric heater or the like; for it will rest the body and bring better stabilization.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) Is the body much improved at this time?
    (A) As indicated, there are improvements in many ways; yet there has become centralized the lack of functioning of conditions so that those properties suggested need to be added.
18. (Q) Have the treatments of the ultra-violet ray thru green glass, given by Dr. Irvin, Bankers Trust Bldg., been properly given? [C. W. Irvin, D.O.]
    (A) We didn't find fault, and we suggest that they be given again - when taken up - for the second series of treatments.
19. (Q) How many series?
    (A) This will depend upon the reaction. We would take at least one other series, and then we would give the changes that have been wrought - after this course of treatment has been taken, see?
20. (Q) Should I continue to take the Animated Ash or take it only while taking the Ultra-Violet Ray treatments?
    (A) Take it only while taking the Ultra-Violet. This stimulation will not be needed when not using the Ray, and especially with the Calcios - which will quicken the pulsation and bring better heat to the body, especially in the superficial circulation.
21. (Q) Please give me a good substitute for Animated Ash.
    (A) We have given one of the best that we have here!
22. (Q) Are the accumulations in the lymph circulation still continuing to break up and passing out thru the eliminations?
    (A) They are continuing to break up, as indicated, and are to be met with the abilities of the system to handle same through the eliminating channels, by the activity of these ingredients in the system.
23. (Q) Has my lung condition improved?
    (A) It has improved. However, there is needed a quicker circulation and not such a slow activity. Thus the adding of those stimulating properties for the body. All of these conditions are taken into consideration.
    We would do these things now, you see, for the next three weeks - or as soon as these properties are obtained, for some three weeks' treatment.
24. (Q) Is Peanut Oil good for me to take internally?
    (A) Let's rub it on at present. It will be very well to use it in the enemas, if so desired. This is a helpful influence internally and externally, but let's not mix it while we are rubbing it on. Let's absorb this, unless - as indicated - there is the desire to use in the enemas that will cleanse the colon occasionally, which would be good for the body.
25. (Q) Is the muscular condition in my mouth the cause of the ill fitting of my lower plate, if so, how can it be remedied?
    (A) It should be remedied by the heating of the plate and fitting it again to the gum.
26. (Q) Please suggest a facial massage that will assist in eliminating large pores and be beneficial to skin.
    (A) The Black and White Cream.
27. (Q) What is cause and relief for soreness in eyeballs?
    (A) This is more from strain and from the use of energies that are at times lacking in the body.
    The better stimulation and better circulation should aid these, especially after the first three to four days of taking the properties indicated.
28. (Q) Has malarial condition cleared up in the system? [See 303-25.]
    (A) It has been dissipated. Now we will eliminate it, or should eliminate it from the system. That is why there should be the good colonic irrigations once in ten days, or twice a month.
29. (Q) Should Adiron, or Bromo-Laxative Quinine and Grove's Chill Tonic be continued? [As given in 303-24, Par. 24-A & in 303-25?]
    (A) As has been indicated, DO NOT take any of these stimulations or tonics during the period that these others just outlined are being taken! For the next three weeks do these, and then the series of the adjustments and the lights again.
    Then we will give further instructions.
