(Q) Any special diet for the body?
(A) Those that will be strengthening - especially in and for
blood supply - adding iron, and such, in a manner that will
equalize the strength of the body. Beef - beef juices, fish,
and those of such vegetables that carry iron and the like -
lettuce, spinach, and of those that carry such, are good for
the body. Not too much sweets. No hog meat, but other meats
may be taken in moderation, see? but no meats while there
are toxins in the system, to be sure.
The oil should be taken, sufficient that there will be within
three to four hours, or five hours, a thorough cleansing of
same. Now this produces, of course, other conditions in the
system, that become relaxed. Those will NOT be troublesome,
if these will be followed by the soda and the active force
that may be acted UPON by the gastric juices of the stomach.
Hence the addition of crackers preferable, because there is
sufficient of saline in this to add saline in the
hydrochloric and keep an equal condition without producing an
OVER active force in the salines - that are produced in
system in the form of lactics, or in the form of that
non-acid condition.
The manipulation [by Thos. B. House, M.D., D.O.] should be
given at least once each day until the general system is
relaxed.
Keep feet warm and dry, and increasing circulation to the
LOWER portion of body instead of to the upper for the
pressure becomes too great on heart action with too much
ABOVE the diaphragm in activity.
(Q) What sedative will be best to reduce temperature?
(A) Dover's Powders, Aspirin, or such. Or salicylic acid -
which is the basis of Aspirin. Now salicylic acid for the
system with sodas, of course, do not work in coordination.
Hence the cleansing of the system will reduce temperature.
So this will be cleansed from system before the sodas are
taken, see? while they may be taken with the oil and carried
out.
That is all the questions.
Do this, as has been outlined, and we will find the body will
respond to these, as has been shown. Then there may be
further instructions for the general strength of the body,
when these have been adhered to or followed out.
We are through for the present.
