This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 20th day of April, 1931, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [304].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. [304].

TEXT

1. EC: We have the body here, [304] - this we have had before.
2. The conditions show for weakness and lack of vitality in the system; this being sapped by the creation of toxic forces, by the continued overtaxation in the system attempting to make for resuscitating forces under an acid reaction.
3. If there will be added as an expectorant, and an aid for the cough and irritation, that works with the whole system, this we would find would be the better preparation - that as has been given in that of the excess of horehound in the preparation, adding all of the properties as has been given [as in 304-19? or 304-7? or 304-11?].
4. We would also make for those corrections [by Gena L. Crews, D.O.] in the system that alleviate those pressures in the upper dorsal and cervical region, especially, so that the drainages are better in the alimentary canal.
5. We would take in between meals those of malted milk or dried milk. This taken at this period will act as a laxative, and will be enabling in creating more of an alkaline reaction.
6. We would take regularly those of the Milk of Magnesia and alter same with those of the Milk of Bismuth - a teaspoonful twice a day will be about the dose, changed according to the activity of the milk as taken. In preparing the milk we would add a heaping teaspoonful of malted milk, or dried milk, to half a glass of milk - see? Ready for questions.
7. (Q) What causes the continued itching and burning on the lower limbs and hips?
   (A) Poor eliminations! When the eliminations are bettered these will disappear. Poisons attempting to be eliminated from the system create an irritation to the epidermis or the skin itself, see?
8. (Q) What is the condition of kidney and bladder and why do they suffer so much at times -
   (A) Poor eliminations and the stress as from the over-acidity in the system!
9. (Q) What will relieve this condition?
   (A) Do as we have given if we would relieve the conditions - see?
10. (Q) Why is my right shoulder becoming so stiff and so much more painful?
    (A) The continuation of poison accumulations and the lack of resuscitating forces to enliven the tissue in those portions of the body.
11. (Q) How can I increase my weight and strength?
    (A) It has just been given!
12. (Q) Please outline a specific diet for me now.
    (A) It has been outlined often and sufficient enough, and the body is a diet to itself!
13. That is all the questions regarding this body.
14. We are through with this reading.
