(Q) How much Glyco-Thymoline should be given?
(A) This has been indicated! Enough to go plumb through the
whole body! It depends upon whether it is given for the
cold, congestion, or from those conditions arising from
inflammation or diarrhea in the system! Both will arise in
various conditions!
There's nothing better to use in massaging the gums than ice,
raw carrots (peeled, of course), or a combination of a little
salt and soda - half and half - which strengthens the gums
and is helpful to the body, see? For the baby, of course,
the salt and soda would be made into a solution; not try to
give it when it's dry, until the child is older and knows
better than to snuff it down it's throat!
We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND
7/11/32 letter from [
305]'s mother [
2457]: "...We have the
sweetest baby you ever saw... He gained five ounces the
first week he was on earth. The 8th day we made a 'jew' out
of him. At the same time the doctor found he was tongue-tied
- think of anyone being kin to me being tongue-tied. So that
was clipped. The little operation made very much better
baby - not near so nervous and jumpy - though he came by that
naturally. He was 22 inches long at 2 weeks, dark eyes that
will be brown..."
3/24/33 Letter from [
305]'s mother, [
2457]: "...I think his
teeth are worrying him - he doesn't sleep well - he is nine
months today...we will be here on Tuesday. The diet and how
to rid him of cold...if wearing apparel is too much or not
enough. I'm sort of old fashioned and am liable to keep too
many clothes on him..."
REPORTS
4/01/33 Letter from [
305]'s mother: "...The information came
yesterday and am well pleased. Had been thinking strongly of
Glyco-Thymoline... He is going to be so hard to wean - he
likes to 'pull'. He has a small amount at one time - but
likes several times - every three hours - instead of four..."
7/01/34 Letter from [
305]'s mother: "...[
305] has the
measles... He can't understand why he can't go out on the
porch to go to sleep these nights...you know he was two
last Sunday..."
7/14/34 Letter from [
305]'s mother: "...I am going to try
the Atomidine with [
305]. Pretty good medicine..."
8/13/34 Letter from [
305]'s mother: "...I can't get [
305] to
take the whole glass of water with Atomidine - the time he
needs to morning and night. He will not take it regularly
and that is one of the things that count, as well as the
properties of the medicine..."
10/27/34 Mother obtained
305-2 for him.
