This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 2nd day of March, 1942, in accordance with request made by the self - Miss [307], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [307]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, in many respects conditions are very good. There are specific disturbances that are causing neuritic reactions; through knees, limbs and hips especially.
4. This arises from lack of proper eliminations and toxic forces that produce sympathetic as well as direct nerve pressures upon areas through the colon, as deflected to activities of the locomotories.
5. These may be eliminated, as we find, if there is used consistency with the applications that may be suggested for this particular disturbance at this time. But to use these particularly, or to leave off too soon, may cause more disturbances in other directions than helpfulness.
6. We would then begin first with the taking of a heaping teaspoonful of Sal Hepatica each morning, and a level teaspoonful each evening, dissolved in a full glass of water; drinking at least another half s glass afterward. Do this each day for five days.
7. Then leave off and begin taking five drops of Glyco-Thymoline in water at least three times each day.
8. And each evening for at least three minutes apply the electrically driven vibrator, using the cup applicator, directly to the body across the sacrum and the whole of the sacral area; especially the RIGHT side and down the sciatic nerve, even to the heel and AROUND the knee. Then apply over the same areas a warm flannel saturated with an equal combination of Mutton Tallow (melted), Turpentine and Camphor. Have this HOT when applied.
9. Keep this up for five days, and leave off.
10. Then have a good, high enema, or - better still - a complete colonic irrigation.
11. Rest then for five days.
12. Then begin all over again, repeating all of the applications suggested, - the Sal Hepatica, followed with the Glyco-Thymoline and the other treatments.
13. Keep away from too rich foods; as candy or any cakes or the like.
14. Ice cream may be taken, or ices.
15. Take plenty of citrus fruit juices AND oatmeal. Take the oatmeal of evenings, rather than mornings.
16. Have plenty of fish also. Use this in the diet at least twice each week; baked or broiled, preferably.
17. Beware of raw bananas or raw apples. Either of these COOKED may be very good.
18. Do these and we will bring bettered conditions for the body.
19. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) What is cause and correction for the hurting in my throat that causes such weakness and great distress at times in entire body?
    (A) Pressures upon the nerves of the ileac plexus that directly influence the activity to the center in the area of the 3rd and 4th cervical. The relieving of the pressures through the alimentary canal, and the better activities throughout the system, will relieve these pressures.
21. (Q) Are the vitamin tablets I am taking beneficial to me?
    (A) Be more beneficial AFTER there has been the cleansing of the system. We would leave off until at least the first series of these treatments has been completed, - save the combinations of the B-1 complex.
22. (Q) What sweets can I eat that will be satisfying and not harmful?
    (A) Honey or saccharin.
23. (Q) Any spiritual advice?
    (A) Use the abilities and the purposes to the creative influence in the lives of those ye meet day by day. Sow the seed of patience, of meekness, of kindness. Leave the results to Him who maketh the good fruitful.
