(Q) Which osteopath in Norfolk would you recommend, and how
often should these treatments be given?
(A) As has been indicated, anyone that will work in sympathy
with the adjustments and conditions indicated; and he will
find them if he will MAKE the examinations in the manner
indicated!
Three to ten, and these should be sufficiently far apart
to allow adjustments - or to allow reactions of the body
to the corrections. These should be thoroughly made, and
sufficiently close together, - yet far enough apart for the
reactions, though sufficiently close to keep the adjustments
in the proper directions.
(Q) Any other suggestion for the body at this time?
(A) Be mindful of taking cold, especially of getting
cold or damp feet close to the Periods, as indicated.
We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND
See
308-6 on
8/12/38 for typhoid.
11/20/39 She submitted questions, saying: "I'm having a
terrible time at school this year. I can't seem to
concentrate. Latin is the only subject I'm not having
trouble with. Changing from the county to the city school
has knocked me all to pieces. There's a break I haven't been
able to bridge over."
REPORTS
7/30/40 Dr. F. C. Hudgins, Jr., D.O., reported that he had
been treating Miss [
308] for six months for dysmenorrhea,
according to instructions in the readings, and had obtained
good results.
8/12/40 Mother [
585] reported: "We are still working on
those pressures which are causing disturbances in the body."
3/30/41 "I should gain weight, because I am always hungry."
7/30/41 See
308-8, a question was asked as to whether it was
still necessary to take sitz baths. The mother later
explained:
"I do not know how many osteopathic treatments were taken
following 308-7, but I hadn't given her the sitz baths
because I really didn't know what a sitz bath was. It didn't
sound terribly important, but just in case I didn't have this
figured out right, I thought we'd better ask about it. Thus
the snappy answer in
308-8, Par. 18-A."
