This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of February, 1937, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [313], through Active Membership of her husband in the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [313].
2. As we find, in many ways conditions are better with the physical forces of this body.
3. While there are disturbing conditions, and some acute conditions in the present, these as we find arise as much from an upset digestion as in the local condition in throat and membranes of the head and throat.
4. For this condition, locally, we would use a spray of Glyco-Thymoline. Use in a spray full strength. And that some little of same may be swallowed is all very well. For unless there is some swallowed, then there should be some taken; not much as a dose, but once a day take two to three drops, other than what may be taken by or in the spraying of the throat and nasal passages.
5. We would begin also with small doses (level teaspoonful) of Eno Salts every morning for a week of such a matter. Then leave off for a week, and then if necessary take again. This is not only to produce better eliminations but to alkalize the digestive forces of the body - the stomach, the activities through the duodenum, the whole of the alimentary canal. But in the small doses it will gradually make for changes.
6. In the matter of the diet, as has been indicated it would be well to keep as much as possible away from fried foods. And no hog meat unless very crisp bacon. Have at least one to two raw vegetables (as lettuce, celery and the like) each day, at some meal; or oftener when possible.
7. As for the disturbances that have been indicated in the pelvic organs, these we find in a much bettered condition. While the position of the organs as related to the activities has not been changed so much, the discharge and the effect of irritations has been relieved to a great extent.
8. When this has been relieved somewhat better, or within the next three to four months, as we find several adjustments osteopathically (or using the packing that may be administered by a first class gynecologist, whether osteopathic or medic) would - with the present conditions, and those adjustments that may be had by the continued using of the Atomidine douches - make almost a perfect correction without operative measures; and make for the relieving of a great deal of the pressure throughout this portion of the system.
9. In the present we would use to a pint of lukewarm water about half to three-quarters of a teaspoonful of the commercial strength Atomidine as the douche. Use preferably the Fountain douche rather than the syringe or a spray syringe; the Fountain is preferable. This we would use about once a week, or three times in two weeks, see? though if there is irritation or the tendency at certain periods for a discharge to be indicated, then use more often.
10. Keeping in these ways and manners, as we find the better conditions may be for this body.

12. (Q) What is wrong with my throat?
    (A) As has been indicated, upset digestion, and with the effect upon a disturbed circulation, tends to make for the feeling as of something sticking in the side. It is the strain upon the circulation. Hence the local application as well as those applications that will set the digestive and eliminating systems better in order.
    The spray may be used each day or twice a day, full strength; but do not have so much or use the spray so much as to irritate, see? This may be used in the throat as well as nasal passages that will connect, or do connect, to throat.

    (A) Do these as we find for the better conditions of this body, [313].
