(Q) How can I correct constipation?
(A) Following the diets that we have outlined, with plenty
of water taken in system, will make for a better correction.
When it becomes necessary for a further evacuation, it would
be better that high enemas be used than too much cathartics.
In such enemas it would be well that in the last quart of
water for injection (using HIGH enemas, see) there be added
a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymollne, as an intestinal
antiseptic.
(Q) How can I improve eyesight?
(A) Best that there be used those aids for same at the
present time, though the general health and the conditions
of the body improved will improve this considerably.
We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND
4/03/33 She submitted questions, including: "What causes me
to have arthritis? Is there anything I can do to remove
deposits from the joints of my fingers?"
REPORTS
4/27/33 "I have not yet had time to begin the treatment but
shall do so at an early date and will write you about results
as soon as I have finished the treatment. Your diagnosis
corresponds with my idea about the condition. I do not
believe it is caused from my diet but rather from improper
functioning of the glands."
5/07/33 Letter from [
779] to EC: "...Miss [
319] called me few
days ago and wanted to have a talk with me. I did not see
the reading as she had let the druggist have it to fill the
prescription - some of the things he had to order. She said
she would let me see it later. She also let her Dr. read it,
says he did not discourage nor encourage her in it. I tried
to insist upon her to do as near as the reading said as
possible and to have no doubt as to it being helpful..."
5/10/33 Wire: "Druggists here cannot locate Oil of Nut
Cedar..."
5/11/33 EC wrote her it might be obtained under name Pinus
cembra, from crude drug house Eimer & Amend, N.Y.C.
6/11/33 "They do not stock this item and were unable to
obtain it...
"Would it be advisable to go ahead with the rest of the
treatment and let this part wait? I shall certainly
appreciate your further assistance in this matter as the
condition is not growing any better and is causing me a good
deal of suffering."
6/21/33 EC advised that she substitute the plain cedar oil.
9/10/33 Mr. [
779] wrote that Miss [
319]'s sister, Mrs. [
410]
wanted a rdg., that she didn't know if there was any special
change in Miss [
319] but she certainly was not any worse.
They realize that due to such long standing it will take time
to get results.
9/17/33 Miss [
319] wrote: "I finally did get the medicine
and took three rounds of it, but thought I had better not
take any more until I had another reading. I don't know
whether it helped me or not. I really have had more pain,
but think probably I have not taken enough medicine... I am
going to give the medicine a thorough trial and feel sure I
will be benefitted."
12/27/33 Mr. [
779]'s letter: "I saw Mrs. [
410] a few weeks
ago and she advised me that both she and her sister, Miss
[
319] are feeling much better now."
6/01/34 She returned her membership ballot, "Assuring you of
my appreciation of your services and wishing for you and the
Association continued usefulness, I am"
Sincerely yours, [
319]
10/07/35 She submitted questions for a Life Reading,
including: "I am getting hard of hearing in my right ear.
Please prescribe for this condition."
11/07/35 See Life Reading
319-2, Par. 36-A advising
osteopathic finger surgery for the catarrhal deafness.
5/06/37 She obtained
319-3 especially for deafness.
9/24/40 Reply to Questionnaire: "As I remember, all symptoms
were correctly given. The physician did not analyze the
condition, but it was supposed to be arthritis.
"Yes, the treatments recommended in the reading were followed
for a time, but not long enough. There was some improvement
in the first month, but the treatments were not followed long
enough due to lack of time. Being a business woman, I was
always in too much of a rush. I am sure I would have
received greater benefit had I kept up the treatments
longer."
10/05/40 She obtained Mental-Spiritual Rdg.
319-4 in regard to
helping her sister, Mrs. [
410].
