5/27/29 "I was so ill. You had said you would give me
a rdg. soon, and it was soon. Well, I did the usual things
and after a week of hard struggle I am up and about again.
Thanks so very much for the help and inspiration that you
gave me. There are so many things to do and think of, I
really can not do them. [
257] wanted me to go with him to
visit you, but I knew that I had not the strength to do so,
as I travel so poorly, and not having eaten anything for a
week I was afraid to take the trip, but as soon as [
460] gets
out of school I will be more satisfied to go and leave [
563].
It seems there is always something to do or wait for, and now
not being strong I really do not care to go anywhere."
6/24/29 Reply to Cayce Hospital questionnaire: "The Edgar
Cayce suggestions were carried out in full and I will say
that they always give me the desired relief, as the doctor's
medicine never helps me. The hot water and Epsom Salts bath
is my standby when used as he [Edgar Cayce] suggested.
Instead of calling in the doctor I ask Mr. Cayce for a
reading. His suggestions do me more good.
"I hope to visit the Cayce Hospital soon. With best wishes
for your success in the wonderful work of building the
hospital for the good of all mankind, I remain, your patron
Mrs. [
325]."
