(Q) Is the method of applying the castor oil and Epsom packs
being carried out correctly?
(A) These are very good. Conditions make necessary
alterations in the application, especially of the Epsom packs
- for, here we have found that - where congestion has been
had in the activities of the liver, and these reactions act
with those of the vegetative nerve system, so that conditions
as are being removed through those portions of the upper
colon - NECESSARY that these be changed in their position,
that the release and activity as is caused by the Epsom packs
be changed. So, don't stick it in one spot and say "This we
are doing right". Follow the conditions as are given in the
activity of the system, that the whole CLEANSING of same may
be removed, or brought about.
(Q) How long should these packs be continued?
(A) Until the condition is removed! Conditions will be
removed when there is seen that there is normal activity of
the system in response to the normal eliminations as set up.
These may be discontinued for a time, then it will be found
necessary that reaction should take place.
(Q) Is all other treatment being properly administered?
(A) Very good. There will be seen that, were those
conditions as exist in breast - were these massaged GENTLY
with Iodex, or coco-butter AND Iodex alternated at times -
these will assist in relieving this pressure, as will also
this continuation of the ultra violet, with the [osteopathic]
manipulation in the upper dorsal and cervical to RELEASE
those conditions as cause this regurgitation in the cardiac
end of stomach.
(Q) Are the kidneys functioning normally?
(A) Normally under the condition. Not NORMAL for the body
entirely, for there is the tendency to be overactive AND
underactive - depending upon the reaction in system of the
kidney, for these are as the negative and positive poles of
the system.
(Q) May the unguentine dressings be discontinued on the
finger?
(A) May be discontinued, but there should be seen that there
is no chance of re-infection.
(Q) What is the cause and treatment of the tension in the
back of the neck?
(A) Reflex from those conditions in the lumbar and sacral,
as come from that sympathetic condition in the cardiac
region. Relaxation of these by the heat, by the stimulation
of capillary circulation, will aid and relieve the condition.
(Q) What is the cause and treatment of the sore throat?
(A) Regurgitation. Be well were an antiseptic or wash
occasionally used, that these do not re-infect the mucous
membranes of the throat, nasal, or of the antrum, or of any
of the tissue IN the throat.
(Q) Is the breast of a malignant or benign nature?
(A) Of the nature of malignant, as has been given before -
though this may be separated in the system. When there is
the sufficient reaction in the system that assimilation may
be properly carried on, then we may add to the system those
conditions that will RELEASE WITHIN the system that which
will aid this in being changed INTO a benign activity. Came
from pressure and from the conditions as have been formerly
explained to this body.
(Q) Would it be advisable for body to go home?
(A) Not if it wants to get perfectly well! Unless it would
continue exactly in the lines as have been carried out - and
it wouldn't! Ten more days would mean a great deal more to
the body.
(Q) Should she go to ..., Okla., with daughter, [
558] for
better health?
(A) If she wishes to, but GET in better health FIRST!
(Q) Would you advise lamp in house, if a nurse to operate
it?
(A) Possibly will not be necessary when the [osteopathic]
corrections are made properly, or if it is used for
PREVENTATIVE measures this may be well.
(Q) What kind of lamp?
(A) Sun lamp, or the quartz mercury is the BETTER - but
under the supervision of one knowing, and not turned loose
freely!
(Q) What diet would you advise?
(A) Alkalin reaction.
That is all the questions regarding this body.
