12/19/34 "I rec'd the rdg. and it was perfect in every
detail. I have a Radio-Active Appliance and I used it.
Well, I rested some better. I just can't sleep. I'll go
to sleep and be sound asleep and in half an hour I'll tear
myself up, or something tears me to pieces and I just am
miserable. I would like to get a check up and ask why my
ankles are swollen and what to do for them. Is the Radio-
Active Appliance in good condition? Shall this body take
[...] in the home as a husband to [daughter [
460]]? Will he
be compatible to all? If not, why? Will he be able to make
a living for [
460]? Is his health in condition to marry her?
Please advise me just what to do in this matter?
"Please, Judge, get this for me. I am having a terrible time
with my health."
12/23/34 Son [
257]'s ltr.: "Mother is a little better today
- still very weak. She will get a battery [Radio-Active
Appliance]. She had one but [
2653] took it to Reilly's and
they said it was no good. I don't know how they know. I
wonder if it is the same battery."
12/27/34 Daughter [
563]'s ltr.: "The appointment for Sat.
at four will be all right for [
460]. Will you please add
the question, 'Is there any other advice the Forces can give
to [
460] and [...]?' Mother has been feeling a trifle better
but she still has difficulty in sleeping. She will write
to you soon."
