This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his home on Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of September, 1935, in accordance with request made by the self - Mrs. [325], Active Member of the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., through her daughter, Miss [563].

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [325].
2. As we find, changes somewhat for the better are indicated in the general conditions of the body.
3. We find there should be used the lights or X-Ray flashes as indicated. While these would not be applied BY the one making the manipulations, they would be applied by one in sympathy WITH the osteopath - to make the proper application of same. Hence, through such channels we would have these applied.
4. Keep the general applications as indicated, by the general manipulations. Not too severe, as to cause other than the drainages to be set up and to keep the eliminations active in the system so that - with ALL the applications - there may be the replenishing and rebuilding for the body itself, as well as sustaining or maintaining the general activity of the vitality already indicated in the system.

6. (Q) Why does the right breast hurt after massage? Is the treatment too strenuous, or should it react in this way?
   (A) If ALL the treatments were carried together, as indicated, this would gradually disappear. It is the attempt of the system to adjust itself to those reactions set up by the treatments. Have the rest of the treatments together with the massages - that is, in cooperation with same though at different periods - and we will find this will not be as severe. However, the manipulations should not be stronger than sufficient to keep drainages generally set up in system.
7. (Q) Should the body take something every day for bowel movement?
   (A) The more often we find it would be better to use the irrigations than to take cathartics. However, the oils or the fruit juices and those things that will act WITH the system, WITH the applications, would be well when necessary. Do not allow the conditions in the system to become so the eliminations through the regular channels are NOT carried on, as the drainages are set up. So, when it becomes necessary, take 'em. But it is preferable to use the Russian Oils, or the oils that make for more easy activity in the system, and enemas, rather than cathartics.
8. (Q) Should the body stay on same diet or eat more of the starchy foods?
   (A) This can be judged best by the body. As the appetite calls for the changes, the body - with its general normal reaction, and its specific understanding of its own conditions, as we have indicated - may be its own best dietician.
9. (Q) What causes the swelling of the ankles and what should be done for same?
   (A) This is the lack of specific activity, from not applying the whole of those things suggested. It is caused by a portion and not ALL of the treatments being applied, see? Hence we would have all of the treatments, and keeping the general conditions as indicated, this condition would correct itself in much better order.
   Do these things as we have outlined, following in those lines of suggestion as seen and known. And we will find we will make for bettered conditions. Do all, not just part.
