5/10/34 Mrs. [
326]'s letter:
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
"About 10 years ago, I began to suffer with a pain in the
side of my face that seemed to come without any warning and
would flash up the side of my head like lightening. It did
not return often and was so quickly over that I did not pay
much attention to it. About five years ago I began to suffer
worse and more often. I had five doctors to treat me, among
them was a noted nerve specialist. Two lots of x-ray
pictures were made, yet no remedy was offered that was
guaranteed to cure. The trouble was pronounced TIC
DOULOUREUX. Day and night I continued to suffer. I couldn't
allow anything to touch the side of my face without the most
intense pain, neither could I go where the wind would blow
on me.
"In the meanwhile, I heard of Mr. Cayce and the work of the
ASSOCIATION FOR RESEARCH AND ENLIGHTENMENT, INC. I decided
to get a reading from Mr. Cayce. He diagnosed my case and
outlined the treatment. That was three years ago. I am
happy now to say that I can go where the wind is blowing,
handle my face without the least pain and do my work about
the home. I consider myself 99% well. It is true that when
I take cold I have had a slight return of the pain, but as
the check reading indicated, I have been too active for my
strength. I have never given myself nor the readings a 100%
trial.
"I thank my Heavenly Father for His kindness to me. I thank
Mr. Cayce for being this channel and pray that the
Association may go on and help many others to find relief,
such as has been my privilege."
Very truly yours, [
326]
GD's note: A brief of her first 4 rdgs. with above letter
was used in the 5/34 A.R.E. Bulletin.
9/28/34 She submitted questions about burning eyes, pains in
shoulder and joints, backache, etc. [See 326-5.]
2/28/36 Niece Mrs. [
303]'s letter:
"Mrs. [
326] was suffering with tic douloureux, which is
generally considered incurable. She could not sleep, eat
or even attend to anything in her home. Since following
out the suggestions given in a reading she is now able to
sleep, eat, look out for her home and provide the meals for
a family of six people, although she is seventy years old."
9/30/36 See
326-6 for gall bladder and liver trouble, stomach
and gas pains, partial deafness.
4/25/37 See
326-7 for flare-up again of the tic douloureux
from which she had been free for three years.
9/47 Niece [
307] reported: "She is in good health, no
further trouble with tic douloureux."
