(Q) Is Alka-Seltzer helpful or harmful to me?
(A) In the present, as may be indicated by too much of an
alkalizing, rather tending to be harmful. As an allaying,
we would find Pyrosan and Salicon as those that would not
only relieve pain but these as combined are better alkalizers
and do not carry the sedimentary conditions that are hard
upon the activity of the lymph circulation through the
lacteals' activity. For the Sodium Salicylate, while an
anaesthesia in a manner to the mucous membranes, does leave
a sedimentary condition - for such a condition as with this
body - in the gall duct and the area through which the
activities of the lymph for the assimilations become active.
Leave these off for this body.
If the Salicon is to be taken, one tablet may be taken every
three or four hours to keep the body quiet. If the Pyrosan
is to be taken, this would not be taken oftener than once
a day. But the absorbent and the activity with the lacteals,
as has been indicated, is preferable to even the Pyrosan - if
the enemas are used.
Do as has been indicated.
We are through for the present.
