(Q) What is present condition of stomach and liver?
(A) As we find some improvement is shown, though there is
some congestion owing to lack of the eliminations properly
through the system. Hence the diet; not too much but to make
for more of an activity that requires the gastric flows to
these portions of the system.
Enemas rather than cathartics are helpful.
While the tablets that have been indicated were helpful,
they produced a strain upon the system; but we would repeat
these when necessary, then follow same by the Olive Oil or
the Russian White Oil - this will be the more helpful for
the body.
Owing to the advance in the age of the activities throughout
the system, there is necessarily - or nominally - more of a
dross to be cared for in the body. Hence those precautions
as to the eliminations.
(Q) Were the Alophen pills the right kind that I bought?
(A) These are alright.
(Q) Have I followed the suggestions right?
(A) As has been indicated, these (the Alophen tablets)
have produced some irritation. Follow same by the Russian
White Oil or doses of Olive Oil; and let more of a period
elapse between the taking of the Alophen pellets.
(Q) When can I eat vegetables and other things?
(A) When there is less disturbance through the alimentary
canal and a stronger feeling through the activities of the
body.
(Q) How long must I continue painting and salt bag heat?
(A) Until the distresses are relieved.
(Q) Should I alternate the Alophen pills with Castoria?
(A) As indicated, alternate rather with the Oils indicated.
(Q) Should I continue taking Pepsin and Bismuth?
(A) These are very good.
(Q) Is whole milk good to use in arrowroot?
(A) This is very good provided it is that which has been
heated before it has been prepared for use.
(Q) Can I eat whole wheat bread?
(A) Whole wheat bread toasted or Rye bread is very good.
(Q) Any further advice?
(A) Do these as we find for the better conditions for this
body.

REPORTS
Question submitted which did not get asked: "What should I
do to improve my hearing?"
6/25/37 "I have been waiting to see how much better I could
get before writing to tell you. Last wk. and wk. before I
was beginning to feel much better, but Sat. I felt that I
needed to take an Alophen pill which I did and it has gotten
all my strength - I am weak and nervous, still my liver
wasn't aroused by taking it... I want to say my jaw is
decidedly better, and I am so thankful."
