This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 18th day of November, 1929, in accordance with request made by self and those in charge.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Mr. and Mrs. [337], Mrs. [433], Mrs. Kaufman, Drs. Berger and Parker, and L. B. Cayce.

Time and Place: 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Cayce Hospital, Virginia Beach, Va.
(Physical Suggestion)

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes. This body we have had before, [337]. Now, in a great MANY ways we find conditions gradually on the improve in this body, and the body - considering that state in which it had allowed, or the conditions as existed - should not be weary in well-doing, for were there not - as has been given - the discharging from the system of poisons as have accumulated through the disturbances in the vegetative nerve system, through the tissue of the system, in almost every cavity of the body, there would CERTAINLY be the effect of disturbance WITHIN such cavity; lungs, throat, intestines, liver, or of other portions OF the body that would be MOST detrimental. In that these conditions are being corrected from within, and that there are occasional times that the serums as are discharged from abrasions become offensive, troublesome, should NOT worry the body - for these will, when the conditions are set aright in the physical functioning of the central system, be ELIMINATED, and will be cleared up. Keep, then, those conditions that will prevent the system from absorbing poisons internally, so that the eliminations through alimentary canal are set up properly. Proper coordination between the liver and the kidneys, the hepatic circulation, clarified - the mesenteric system out of strain, the lungs clear and constantly using those applications that will PREVENT any separation of those conditions exhumed from the abrasions, and we will find that in the near future these conditions will clarify in the system.
  2. Would be well, for the next two weeks, or ten days, that those abrasions that disturb in head be used with a very weak solution of bichloride. THEN, when it is cleared, apply that as has been given for the correction of the external conditions. Ready for questions.
  3. (Q) Should Radio-Active Appliance now be used?
    (A) Would be well. Be excellent for this body. Making the application of same to the umbilicus center and alternating with the smaller anode to wrist and ankle, making a circuit of the body with same. Right wrist, next day left ankle, next day left wrist, next day right ankle - see?
  4. (Q) Have treatments been given according to readings? If so, why does body feel condition had in no way improved? Or is it only a state of body's mind?
    (A) The conditions exist as has JUST been outlined! These came about by the applications as given. Judge for self!
  5. (Q) Is the present attitude due to recent mental strain undergone?
    (A) Partly so.
  6. (Q) Should ointment used at present be continued? If not, should Dr. Parker's application be used? [Jas. R. Parker, M.D.]
    (A) This has been told how to be applied! Do that!
  7. (Q) Would application of calamine lotion be beneficial?
    (A) Use that as has been given! We are through with this reading.
